Jiang Qi gently opened a delicately packaged box and immediately, a fragrance of liquor spread, filling the air.
The scent of alcohol drifted into Ye Chenfeng's nostrils, intoxicating him somewhat. It was, in fact, "Tongsheng Jin" from the Northeast, the most famous liquor industry there. This particular drink was their signature "Daoguang 25," named after it was sealed during the 25th year of the Daoguang Emperor as Royal Tribute Wine.
Tongsheng Jin liquor workshop had sealed this Qing dynasty tribute liquor in the 25th year of Daoguang, making it the longest-stored white liquor in the world, with an alcohol content of fifty-three degrees, a very strong drink.
Since it was a tribute drink, it was sealed by dipping rice paper in deer blood. Over 150 years of soaking enabled the deer blood to permeate into the liquor, enhancing its effects substantially.
