Chapter 21 : The First Skill
Brody, Blake, Dylan, and Derek, the four brothers, quietly listened to John's explanations. Though they didn't fully grasp everything he was saying, they stayed attentive, absorbing whatever they could.
Victor, now seeing John as their leader, asked the question that was on everyone's mind. "So, John, what's the first thing we'll do tomorrow?"
John paused for a moment before answering, making sure he had everyone's attention. "Tomorrow, we'll start by harvesting the potatoes that are ready. For the ones that aren't, we'll keep a close eye on them. Then, we'll build a fence around the area using wood and thorns to keep the animals out."
Satisfied with the plan, Victor nodded. John then continued, "Alright, that's all for today. We'll meet here again tomorrow evening to discuss our progress. Let's get some rest now."
"Okay, John," Uncle Tom agreed as he stood up, followed by the others, who slowly made their way to their newly built huts.
Once everyone had settled in for the night, John entered his hut, ready to rest. Just as he was about to lie down, Info's voice echoed in his mind.

John blinked in surprise. "Oh, I didn't know IQ could increase like that… Well, I guess tomorrow I'll—"
Before he could finish his thought, Info interrupted again.
[Congratulations, Host! Since your IQ has surpassed 100, you've unlocked the skill Analyser's Touch. ]
"What…? *Analyser's Touch?* What is that?" John asked, confused and a little shocked. He quickly opened his status screen, eager to see the changes.

John sat down comfortably, listening to Info and trying to understand everything. After hearing the full explanation, he asked, "So, how do I use this skill?"
[Host, to use this skill, you need to touch any plant or other objects . Once activated, the complete information about that plant will appear on your screen.]
"Holy shitt... this is fucking amazing! Now I don't have to ask Info repeatedly; I can just find out by touching things directly. This way, I can discover new things and share that knowledge with my people, which will be a huge help." John was jumping with joy, feeling extremely happy after Info explained the details of the skill.
John began to look around to try out his new skill, but he didn't find anything unusual. He noticed a large wooden beam in the hut and thought, "Why am I looking on the ground? This entire hut is made of wood. Let me try touching this big beam and see what information it provides."
He got up from his place and touched the wooden beam, but nothing happened initially. "Hmm… nothing is showing. Maybe I need to say 'Analyze...'"
As soon as John said "Analyze," a screen appeared in front of him, displaying detailed information about the wooden beam he had touched:

John was astonished and thrilled by the detailed information displayed on the screen.
John thought, "I got complete information about a piece of wood just by touching it. I should be able to get detailed information about other items in the same way. I'll try touching different things to see what information I can gather."
Unable to sleep from excitement, John began touching each piece of wood in the hut. All of them were parts of the same Ironbark Oak, which had been displayed earlier on the screen. Then, John suddenly remembered.
"Oh, why didn't I think of this earlier? I forgot about the potatoes. Let's see what information I can get about them," John said to himself. He went to a corner, retrieved a raw potato he had brought a few nights ago, and placed it on the ground.
He then said, "Analyze," and immediately, a blue screen appeared, displaying information about the potato.

John was confused by the new terms and thought, "I need to remember this new information. The name, age, and life span are similar to what I saw before, but I need to understand these new words and their meanings."
John now understood that there was a vast amount of knowledge in this world, and he was determined to fill his mind with as much information as possible. He was thinking about exploring further to gather more details.
"INFO, can I also get information about medicinal herbs?" John asked, knowing how important health is and that being well could prevent many problems, while medicinal herbs could help treat illnesses.
"[No, Host. For that, you would need to learn Ayurvedic knowledge. Currently, it's not possible, but I have three tips for you:
1) Exercise in the morning. 2) Wash your food items thoroughly before eating. 3) Wash your hands thoroughly before eating. Following these three daily practices will help maintain good health and significantly reduce the chances of falling ill.]"
"Do I really need to exercise daily, like the soldiers do every morning?" John wondered. He had seen soldiers exercising early in the morning a few times, but he never really understood why they were doing it, so he didn't pay much attention. Now that INFO mentioned that exercising was important to stay healthy, that scene came back to him.
"Washing food and hands... if doing all that reduces the chances of getting sick, then I'll tell everyone about it tomorrow," John decided. He didn't fully understand how washing could prevent illness, but he trusted INFO and figured there must be a reason behind it.
John listened to the advice and felt reassured that taking care of his health would make a big difference in his and others' lives.
"Alright, let's get some sleep. There's a lot of work to do tomorrow," John said as he lay down. The place was new, but John didn't dwell on his thoughts for long and quickly fell asleep.
Five hours later, morning arrived. Uncle Tom was the first to step out of his hut. "This is the first morning in my life that feels completely free of worry," Uncle Tom said as he looked toward the rising sun. He thought about his tough life—how he used to wake up early, rushing to work just to earn a meal, often working on an empty stomach. But this morning was different.
Last night, he ate to his heart's content, slept peacefully, and woke up with no worries. There was plenty of food to eat, and no stress about work. Uncle Tom considered this a tension-free morning.
"Brother Tom, good morning," Victor said, yawning as he stepped out of his hut and saw Uncle Tom sitting nearby.
"Good morning, Victor," Uncle Tom replied, turning to face him after hearing Victor's voice.
"This morning brings so much joy to our hearts, doesn't it, Brother Tom?" Victor said as he walked closer, feeling like a heavy burden had been lifted from his chest.
"Yes, you're right, Victor. I feel so at peace for the first time," Uncle Tom said, looking at Victor.
"So, how about we go for a walk this morning? What do you think?" Victor suggested. He wanted to explore the land more thoroughly while everyone else was still waking up.
"Yes, that sounds good. Let's go," Uncle Tom agreed, getting up to join him.
