Theia stood. Her movement barely contained the tension as she rolled her shoulders and cracked her neck. After the stretch, her eyes met Naia's briefly before turning toward the door.
"Try not to go out of your way to be a hero while I'm gone, Navigator."
The attempt at lightness fell slightly flat because the one she was speaking to couldn't immediately respond.
