THE WHITE ROOM

YUNO was relieved when Baekho arrived just in time.

Apparently, it was Ki Gayoon's order for his right-hand man to act as reinforcement.

"I drove as fast as I could, but I was still late, Yuno-ya," Baekho said while the two of them were watching the paramedics put Ki Gayoon— still unconscious while lying down on the stretcher— in the ambulance. "I drove as fast as I could, but I was still late. Moreover, I had to help Esper Lee Sarang-ssi and her guild members fight the dungeon monsters."

Right.

Lee Sarang's beautiful glass house was in a mess after the fight.

Anyways, that could be easily fixed since Ki Gayoon promised to renovate Lee Sarang's house later.

We messed up the frozen room, so it's only right we compensate Esper Lee Sarang-ssi.

"Boss asked me to follow here and take you away if the situation gets dangerous," Baekho said. "I'm sorry, I was late, Madam."

Yuno clenched his hands tight.
