CHAPTER 16

Entering the office space,Ryan noticed everyone was looking at him weirdly.

"Did something happen?" Ryan thought to himself before going to his table to sit.

The stare continued for a long time and Ryan suddenly felt uncomfortable, something was definitely wrong but it couldn't pin it.During lunch break, Thomas called Ryan and Ronda as they were supposed to go the media department to see how they are setting up.

While waiting for the elevator, Ryan turned to Ronda.

"Hey....did something happen?"

"What do you mean?" Ronda asked confused.

"Like ... In the morning,did something happen?"

"Nope.....I don't think so,right Tom?"

"Yeah,why do you ask?" Thomas said.

"Well.....I don't know if I'm being paranoid but ever since I entered the office, everyone has been looking at me weirdly, so I thought something happened " Ryan said.

"I haven't noticed though, maybe you're wrong " Ronda said.

"I hope so"

The elevator door opened and they walked in.

The two ladies who were in the elevator turned to each other immediately they saw Ryan.

"It's him right?"

"Yes "

"He looks so innocent,no one would think he would do such a thing "

"I know right?looks can be decieving"

Ryan turned his head a little to the side when he heard what they said,he saw the way they looked at him and he felt weird.

"Something's definitely going on" he said.

Ronda turned to look at the ladies who were talking.

"Hey.....who are you talking about?"

"No one" They said hurriedly.

The elevator door opened and the ladies immediately ran out.

"See what I was talking about" Ryan said " something's wrong "

" They are definitely talking about you,the way they looked at you is like you did something" Thomas said.

"I know,I can seem to remember doing anything to anyone.....oh" That was when what happened on Friday hit Ryan.

"Oh no" He immediately said.

"What's wrong?" Ronda asked when the elevator opened and they walked out.

"I hope it isn't what I think it is" Ryan said softly to himself.

They walked towards the set,where the media were working.

Kelvin who is an assistant director saw Ryan before approaching him.

"Hey...how is it going?"

"We are about testing the product "

"Okay..... how's the ad and commercial planning?" Thomas asked.

"Have you guys decided on a model yet?" Ronda asked.

"Well....yes....we have,you can talk to the marketing Director over there " Kelvin said.

"Okay" Thomas answered before leaving with Ronda.

"Hey... what's up?" Ryan asked when he said how Kelvin reacted when Ronda asked about the model.

"Listen,the model for the ad is Noah" Kelvin said.

"Seriously?" Ryan asked in disbelief.

"Yes"

"He won't accept it, don't worry about it " Ryan said.

"Are you sure?,it's definitely going to be awkward being in the same working space when you're in a secret relationship " Kelvin said in concern.

"Yeah I know,but don't worry about it.He won't accept." Ryan said.

"Okay..... let's go"

They headed to where Ronda and Thomas are standing with the Director

Ryan looked around hima and saw people looking at him weirdly,He decided to ignore it.

After work Ryan went to the apartment he shared with Noah, when he opened the door he was surprised to see Noah in the house.

He didn't know how to act with him since Noah hasn't apologized for what he did.

"You're here" Noah said to Ryan.

"Hmmmm..."Ryan answered while taking off his shoes.

He went to the kitchen to pour himself a glass of water, while he was drinking it his phone received a message from Alec.

He kept the water on the kitchen counter before reading the message.

"How's the preparation going?"

"It's going well,we started today though"

"Okay,so you should be wrapping up on Friday?"

"I don't know,you can ask the CMO"

"Ohhhh... okay,so how are you?"

"I am fine,I just got home from the office.What about you? Guess you are still at the office"

"You know me already,yep but I'll be leaving soon"

"Okay then"

"Go eat and freshen up, I'll call you tomorrow "

"Alright "

Ryan smiled for a while before he heard Alec talking to him.

"Did you say something?" Ryan asked.

"Yeah.... I've been talking to you,who were you chatting with?" Noah asked.

"Oh....a friend " Ryan said before entering the room.

Noah looked at him till he entered the room before looking back at his phone.

After freshening up,Ryan ate before going to bed.

Ryan was in a deep sleep when he felt a hand caressing his body before kissing his neck hardly.He moved uncomfortablely while trying to avoid Noah's hard kisses.

"Heyyy Stoppp..." Ryan said while gently pushing Noah away.

Noah paid no attention to him while he was struggling,he got on top on Ryan before trying to unbutton his night shirt.

"Seriously Noah stop" Ryan said trying to keep Noah's hand away from his shirt.

"What's wrong?" Noah asked after a while.

Ryan looked at Noah for a deeply before trying to push him off him.

".....Get off"

"What's with this mood?" Noah asked pissed.

" please get off" Ryan said.

Noah grabbed Ryan's hands and pinned them above his head before bending over to kiss him.

"Let go,let-- let go of me you....." Ryan said angrily trying to free himself from Alec.

"Stop struggling,you know you want me"

" That's enough Noah,"

Noah used his right and and pinched Ryan's mouth trying to force it open while kissing him.

Ryan was really pissed,he suddenly felt irritated and he bit Noah's tongue.

Noah freed his hands because of the pain and Ryan used to opportunity to push Noah off him before sitting up.

"WHAT THE F**K DID YOU DO THAT FOR?" Noah said angrily.

" You didn't listen when I told you to stop,serves you right." Ryan said angrily.

Ryan stood up from the bed while trying to button his shirt.

"You need to stop when I tell you to,you can't keep forcing me to accept you when I don't want to" Ryan said, while trying to make Noah understand.

Noah laughed mockingly before getting off the bed " you're f**king someone else right?, who is it?"

"Of course,that's your conclusion" Ryan said looking at him in disappointment.

Noah approached Ryan before holding him by his jaw

"Who is it?....."

Ryan angrily hit the hand holding his jaw

"You're an asshole,when things don't go your way you assume I am cheating when we both know who the cheater is.You think I don't know you've been sleeping around?, stop treating me like a fool Noah "

Noah looked at him before saying to him

"The fact I cheat doesn't mean you should, you belong to me."

"You're really a prick" Ryan said.

"I still come home to you, don't I?. Doesn't that make mean anything to you?,you need to understand that." Noah answered.

Ryan took a deep breathe before turning to look at him

"Didn't I?...for 3 year I tried understood you,I tried to put up with it but....." Ryan felt so pained that a tear fell from his eyes,he just wanted to leave,he needs to leave before he breaks down.

"You know what,I can't do this anymore Noah "

"What do you mean by that?" Noah asked.

Ryan didn't answer him,he entered the closet, packed some clothes he needed for work, carried his work bag and phone before leaving the room.

"Where are you f**king going to?" Noah asked before grabbing Ryan's wrist tightly.

" Noah.....let go" Ryan said angrily before flinging off his hand and walking out of the house his in night dress.

He ordered a ride before going to an hotel to stay for the night.

When he reached the room he broke down, he felt so bad for himself, for all the years he wasted trying to understand Noah.

After cleaning his tears,he promised himself never to cry for Noah again before he went to bed.
