After some fuss, Little Zi's body, originally the size of a stool, shrank slightly. It flew onto Ye Wutian's shoulder, affectionately rubbing its small head against Ye Wutian's face.
Ye Wutian reached out to touch those smooth feathers on Little Zi, smiling as he said, "Little guy, I didn't expect you to grow so quickly."
"Ying ying ying ying!~"
Little Zi called out nonsensically, seemingly trying to communicate something to Ye Wutian, and as it spoke, its mouth opened and a "boom" sound followed as a stream of purple thunder light as thick as a finger shot out.
The thunder light struck the wall, "bang," blasting a hole the size of a window.
"Ah!~" A woman's scream sounded from outside. Then, a pale-faced maid warily peeped into the hole.
Ye Wutian gave her a wry laugh, and seeing that nothing serious had happened, the maid bowed to Ye Wutian and hurried away.
