When Alexis saw his stats and the increase in his potential, he was still mildly shocked. The name of the system might've been the "Infinite Potential System," and he might've seen "upgradable" beside his player potential anytime he checked his stats, but it was still a little bit unbelievable when he finally saw it.

In the next few minutes, he finished his shower and was about to get into bed to sleep when he heard the sound of his front door unlocking.

Alexis hurriedly got up from his bed and ran downstairs. He saw Sandra plopped atop the couch in their living room and smiled slightly. She probably just got back from work.

"You're back early today," Alexis said with a smile.

Sandra did not return his smile; her expression was anything but jovial. She glared at him. "You got injured again, didn't you?"
