4-3-3

---

After Michael's second goal, the rest of the first half became pretty boring. Elmbridge Academy dropped one of their central midfielders deep to form a 4-2-2-2 formation in response to Alexis's and David's little stunt. Unfortunately for them, David and Archie returned to their default positions, and Alexis kept his usual position.

Charles Patterson had long spells of possession after that goal. It was clear that they weren't planning on rushing forward again. They had a two-goal lead already, and they weren't going to risk anything by going forward and getting caught on the counter, so the first half ended with a scoreless rest of the half.
