Chapter 10:

As the sun rises over the horizon, casting a warm glow over the landscape, the sweet melodies of birds fill the air, creating a serene atmosphere. Lina, still trying to shake off the slumber, slowly opens her eyes, allowing the gentle sunlight to seep into her room. She stretches her arms and yawns, feeling the softness of the bed beneath her. With a newfound sense of energy, she gets up and begins her descent downstairs, her footsteps quiet on the stairs.

As she reaches the ground floor, she notices Jonathan engaged in a conversation with Dr. Ryan. Lina's eyes widen in surprise as she takes in Jonathan's appearance. She can't help but notice how handsome he is, with his tall stature, long brown hair, and piercing blue eyes that seem to see right through her. His physique is impressive, and Lina finds herself wondering who this man is and why she feels so drawn to him.

Catalina's curiosity gets the better of her, and she approaches Ryan, asking, "Who is he?" Ryan turns to her and smiles, saying, "You don't recognize him? This is Jonathan, my nephew, Jonathan Thrones." Lina's eyes dart back to Jonathan, and she says, "You didn't introduce us." Ryan chuckles and explains, "You met him last night; he's the one who brought you here."

Lina's mind races as she tries to process this new information. She looks at Jonathan, and their eyes meet for a brief moment. She feels a spark of electricity run through her body, and she quickly looks away, trying to compose herself.

Jonathan, sensing her unease, approaches her and says, "Look, Lina, I've trusted you so much, and I've brought you to our top-secret bungalow. Now, I want to tell you everything about myself, but first, please tell me everything about you." His voice is gentle, and Lina finds herself wanting to open up to him.

Lina takes a deep breath and asks, "What do you want to know?" Jonathan replies, "Everything - your past, about yourself, and about RIP. Why do they want to kidnap you?" Lina hesitates, unsure of how much to reveal. But something about Jonathan's kind eyes puts her at ease, and she begins to tell her story.

As she speaks, Jonathan listens intently, his eyes never leaving hers. He nods occasionally, encouraging her to continue. When she mentions the card with "Glory to RIP," he takes it out of his pocket, and Lina's eyes widen in surprise.

Jonathan asks, "What happened at the police station?" Lina realizes, "You were investigating me?" Jonathan confirms, "Yes, I've been investigating you since that day." Lina tells him about the police shooting and arresting some people, and how Bob, her apartment's owner, had helped her.

Ryan asks, "What did Bob tell them?" Lina explains, "He told them about my past, how my parents died in a car accident, and how my brother Finn and I were taken in by the RIP organization. They made us work for them, doing all sorts of jobs, from smuggling to robbery. When I grew up, I tried to escape. Finn helped me, but now they're after me."

Jonathan is deep in thought, his eyes narrowed in concentration. He asks, "Where is Finn now, and what is he doing?" Lina replies, "Finn works with the leader of RIP, doing robberies and other things. He's always been loyal to them, but I know he's not a bad person. He's just trapped, like I was."

Jonathan asks for a description of Finn, and Lina tells him, "He's 5'7" with a skinny build. He always wears a mask during robberies, so I don't know what he looks like without it. But I know he's scared, and I want to help him."

Just then, someone knocks on the bungalow's gate, breaking the silence. Ryan's expression turns serious, and he turns off the lights using a remote. Jonathan quickly takes Lina's hand and leads her to the underground laboratory, a secret room hidden beneath the bungalow. Ryan follows close behind, his eyes scanning the surroundings.

As they reach the laboratory, Ryan opens the door to find Detective Jimmy standing outside, his badge in hand. "L.C.P.D police department!" he announces. "Put your hands up and sit on the ground!" The atmosphere becomes tense, and Lina wonders what will happen next.
