Chapter 14:
Finn, now conscious again, began to attack Bob with renewed ferocity, his focus solely on Bob, and his intention to kill him clear. Finn pulled out a knife from his pocket and said, "Bob, you're not going to escape this time." Bob, realizing his life was in danger, cried out for help, "Eagle Flame, save me!"
But before Eagle Flame could react, Finn had already struck Bob with the knife, inflicting a deep wound on his abdomen. Bob crumpled to the ground, gasping for breath. Eagle Flame sprang into action, his eyes blazing with fury. He grabbed Finn's throat, lifting him off the ground, and slammed him into the earth with incredible force.
The impact was so severe that it created a crater in the ground. Finn's eyes rolled back, and he lay motionless, unconscious. Bob, still in pain, said, "Wow, you've knocked him out." Detective Jimmy said, "Show some mercy, that was unnecessary. Look, he's not even moving."
But to their surprise, Finn was still alive, just unconscious. Eagle Flame picked him up and put him on his shoulders. They approached the bungalow, and Eagle Flame called out, "Ryan, open the door!" The door swung open, revealing Dr. Ryan, who was taken aback by the sight of Finn and Bob's injuries.
Dr. Ryan quickly sprang into action, treating Finn's wounds and stabilizing him. Bob, still in pain, asked Dr. Ryan, "Who are you?" Dr. Ryan replied, "All in good time, Bob. First, let's focus on getting you both treated." Catalina entered the room, her eyes widening in horror as she saw Finn's condition.
She rushed to his side, tears streaming down her face. "What have you done to my brother?" Eagle Flame explained the situation, but Catalina was unconvinced. "You didn't have to hurt him like this. You could have just knocked him out." Eagle Flame said, "It was necessary, he was trying to kill Bob."
The group discussed their plan to take down RIP and Robin, with Eagle Flame revealing his true identity as Jonathan. Bob asked if they should inform Jennifer about their plans, but Jonathan deemed it unnecessary. Finn, now conscious, was reunited with Catalina.
He revealed the shocking truth that Robin had implanted a location tracker under his skin, which could lead Robin to their location. Jonathan assured them that his powerful jammer would prevent Robin from tracking them. Detective Jimmy joked, "Robin will still find a way to show up." Jonathan replied, "I've upgraded the jammer, he won't be able to track us."
As they continued to discuss their plan, Dr. Ryan finished treating Bob's wound and put a bandage on it. Bob felt a sense of relief wash over him as the pain subsided. Catalina stayed by Finn's side, holding his hand and talking to him in a soothing voice.
Eagle Flame explained that they needed to keep Finn sedated until they could figure out how to remove the location tracker. Dr. Ryan agreed and administered a sedative to Finn. As Finn drifted off to sleep, Catalina looked up at Eagle Flame with tears in her eyes.
"Thank you for saving my brother," she said. Eagle Flame nodded and put a hand on her shoulder. "We're in this together," he said. The group continued to discuss their plan, knowing that they had to act fast to take down RIP and Robin.
