Multiple days and nights had passed as the sun and moon kept switching places on the bloody sky or the so called sun and moon

Cracking sounds could be heard from the cave as the egg began to break apart

A strange yellow liquid vame put of a big crack as the now changed worm came out of it
The worm began to move the rest of the body out of the egg slowly but steadily as its body came out

The worm began to eat its shell and the liquid as its size grew from 1m to 1.5m in the blink of an eye

The worm gave a scream to mark it's awakening as it slowly went towards a nearby area

The worm listened to multiple sounds above it as it watched multiple shadows moving between the trees at high speeds

Two shadows chased another shadow which was a man with a blonde short hair

The Blonde man threw a orange ball of energy which exploded at the other two's face but they came out of it unscathed and the one with a mask threw a Red ball of energy at the Blonde man
The sudden Explosion caused the man to spit out alot of blood as he fell down to the river
The other two came down to check on the guy

After saying this, the two ran away
The worm who was watching the scene unfold came out of hiding from within the bushes and near the body

Upon seeing the text the worm tilted its head sideways to show it's confusion but decided to help the man
It began to use it's mouth to suck all the excess blood which was flowing out and then using a leaf, it stored some water and brought it to the guy's mouth with extreme difficulties
The worm had to use the tip of the leaf to make the man drink the water while the other leaf holding water was Abel to act as a warm water due to the sunlight
The man suddenly woke up with a sore body
???: Ugh what happened
He looked around his body to see the bloody wounds
???: It seems that due to excess use of energy, I fell unconscious
He looked ahead and was surprised

Suddenly the man heard a faint cry and looked beside him to see a worm 1.5m tall beside him

The man not knowing the reason for why this worm which was half the size of his legs helped him, he was touched

The worm shook its head and pointed at the dead bird's corpses indicating that it was here due to the birds

The worm tilted its head once again making the man think
???: Since I am in the wild, it is best to team up with a beast since beasts can survive better than us humans that's what my mother always told me

The worm tilted its head because it was unable to understand what the man said so it simply ignored the man and went back into the woods

A hefty growl came from the sides as a large badger stood there
The worm upon seeing the badger felt extremely hungry and it's instincts made it move towards the badger
The badger seeing the worm approaching swiped it's arm but it was defected by a wooden stick

The man attacked the badger with all his strength but his sword could only do a small damage to it

The worm but the badger near it's belly directly injuring it's vital organs in th process

The badger shot towards the worm like a bullet causing the worm to be pushed back into a tree but the skill also caused the wound on its belly to expand

???: Truly Beasts are creatures of high strength, my sword couldn't even do anything harm to its body but the bite just now actually caused a huge wound!
The man looked at the badger who was in pain and the huge wound making him realise just how pitifully weak he was before
???: I guess it was a good choice for me to follow a beast because if not, I am afraid that badger would have easily killed me
The worm crawled out of the crator and charge at the badger

Multiple stones began to levitate in the air around the worm as they fired at rapid speed towards the badger
The sudden attack made the badger unable to defend in time causing it to be bombarded by multiple attacks in a row
The worm took the opportunity to bite the belly once again but this time since the wound was huge, the attack did serious internal damage to the badger as it died due to excessive bleeding and the loss of multiple organs
The man saw this and watched the panting worm nearby
He quickly scooped a piece of stone from within the skull of the badger
The worm looked at it and stared
???: Sorry man but I will just take this piece ok? The rest of the body belongs to you
The worm didn't understand but since it saw the man leave with the small piece of stone, it went to the corpse and began to eat it

The worm was instantly covered with a white light as it's turned into yet another egg with a yellow exterior and blue circles on its surface and was about 3m tall
The man came here to check for any remains of the Badger but was surprised to see a huge egg instead and the worm which has disappeared
???: Where is the worm and why is there a egg here?
The man touched the surface of the egg and could sense a faint pulse within proving that something was inside the egg
??? A strange egg in the middle with no badger and worm?
He thought about the possibility of the worm being eaten or a bird egg falling here which may have caused a bigger bird to move the worm but shook his head
???: Either of them are impossible mainly because first the worm was big and beasts are territorial creatures so there should be remains of battles here and second of all if a egg was to fall here then the mother bird would never leave it here unless the egg or whatever is inside had already died but I felt a life inside so the most probable outcome should be that the worm is transforming
The worm was already weird enough as the man never saw such a creature and not to say that a worm which can turn into eggs for evolution or upgrades
The man thought alot but since neither were plausible he decided to stay here and guard the egg
???: The worst that can happen is me getting eaten but I had already almost died once if not for the worm so even if I died protecting whatever is inside this egg, I would have no regrets
With that in mind, the man began to guard the egg all day and night for many days
Soon a month has passed by,

The man pushed a huge bison in the front which was 2m tall

Seeing the man's sincerity the worm began to eat the bison chunk by chunk and even cut a large chunk for the man
The man seeing this smiled and laughed
???: Hahah old friend since you are giving me I would humbly accept!
The man took the chunk of bison meat and began to eat it
???: As expected of a 2nd order Middle Level beast! The meat is so rich that I might breakthrough if I ate enough of these!
