Matthew watched Ronan and Sophia dancing closely, the scene stirring a jealousy he couldn't ignore.
Initially, Ronan seemed hesitant, but now they were wrapped in each other's embrace—Sophia's head resting on Ronan's chest as he held her tightly. The sight stung deeply.
Determined to intervene, Matthew made his way toward Sophia, but Minerva's sudden grip stopped him.
"What are you doing?" she asked.
"Going to get Sophia out of Ronan's grasp," Matthew replied irritably, trying to pull his hand free.
"No, don't do that. Don't ruin their moment. I've never seen Ronan look at someone like that, not even us. I think she's finally getting through to him. Maybe she can change him," Minerva said.
Matthew hated to admit it, but Valentina was right. If anyone could change Ronan, it had to be Sophia. She was kind-hearted and seemed capable of countering the darkness inside him.
And most importantly, she was his mate.
