Come Back to Us

Ronan's eyes fluttered open, he groaned, trying to push himself up. Sophia was still by his side, her face streaked with tears but lit with relief. The sight of Ronan awake was a small victory, but the relief was short-lived as he began to act out.

"What the hell is going on?" Ronan snapped, his voice strained but laced with irritation. He struggled to sit up, wincing from the pain but still managing to glare at his surroundings. "Why am I here? What happened?"

Sophia tried to calm him, her hands gently resting on his shoulders. "Ronan, you're safe. We're back at the Packhouse. You were hurt badly, but Valentina did a healing spell. You need to rest."

Ronan's eyes darted around, taking in the unfamiliar calm of the Packhouse compared to the chaos he remembered. "Rest? I don't need rest! I need to—"

Valentina stepped in, her face stern. "You need to stay still, Ronan. You were injured, and pushing yourself too hard will only make things worse."
