In the shower

Alexander

I rolled over in bed, surprised to find that Amber wasn't there beside me.

With a frustrated sigh, I sat up and reached for my phone, reading the text message she had sent.

"I'm going out for a walk," she wrote, "I'll be back in an hour."

I got out of bed angrily, tossing my phone onto the covers.

I stormed toward the bathroom, feeling a growing sense of anger towards Amber.

"She disobeyed me again," I muttered to myself, my mind racing with frustration and annoyance.

I couldn't understand why she couldn't just listen to me, why she had to push my limits and defy me at every turn.

I turned on the shower, the sound of water hitting the tiles echoing in the empty room as I undressed.

As I stepped into the shower, the warm water cascaded over my body, doing little to soothe my irritated mind.
