Mum please hurry up I don't want to be late I called out

"Nicole help me look for Gabriella socks i can't find them said my mum

" oh my God I stumped my feet hard on the floor Gabriella where did you keep your socks?are you sure you didn't use it to wear your teddy bear again .

I was running late to school and the time was already 7:15 and No matter how much mum claims to be a fast driver I don't think we are ever going to be the traffic

"Jesus Christ I am going to run mad one day in this house ,the twin are always nonchalant and carefree when ever it comes to keeping their things in place and order and when ever I tend to hit them or shout at them, my mum will say they are just children , children of seven years are suppose to behave in order I will murmur to my self and because of them I will be late to school on a Monday morning .

When I arrived at school the morning devotion had already been concluded but fortunately for me my classmates had not marched in yet I hurriedly join the line .

Hey Nicole ,saftinatu walked up to me your really late today and you just missed the announcement the principal made earlier ,

I just rolled my eyes the thought of how my siblings came into mind.

"What was the announcement all about I asked ?

It was about the school carnival coming up this week ,'wow a carnival? I asked with a shocking face, yes of course a carnival she replied the carnival celebration started when I was in j.s.s.3 the principal said it was the fun aspect of our school and mind you, the carnival has also contributed to the large amount of students we have today in this school Wow I see.'yes dear it has every child wanted to participate in the carnival when ever they see our parade outside and jeez you really need to see us that day it is always a colorful day .

We are divided into four groups,the paraders ; the costumiers ;the flamers and lastly the cheeres group.And you are in what group i asked ? I am a member of the costumeirs and you know what do last year carnival we took second position but I feel we were cheated cause we really did more better than the paraders .

"That not true someone said from the back we turned around and saw it was our classmates Mabel it seems she was just coming to school now too and was opportune to hear safinatu boasting .

Don't mind her Nicole' the costumiers are known to be lousy losers and they took the fourth position which also means last position ,' what I shouted while laughing" safinatu was just grinning at me " Don't ever take safinatu words seriously just take them with like a pinch of salt she is a great boaster she said while smiling ,I couldn't help I started laughing again "Anyways miss perpetual late comer safinatu cut in it does not matter if we came last the previous year ,I bet you this year we are going to make a difference and I going to hold that cup to my chest with a smile of victory . Mabel and i couldn't help it and we started laughing again" anyways she continued I just pray you pick my house when you newcomer's are asked to pick ." Oh please don't wish such bad luck Mabel said i just smiled while we marched in to our classroom.

I think luck ran out on me because I actually picked the costumiers group and I bursted into a fake cry and Mabel came to console me and Safinatu gave me that " I told you .., look.

I think am beginning to like my new school the teachers here we good and really polite to students and tends to make sure every one pay attention in class ,I was getting close to safinatu already but today we were actually three that sat down together during recess I was kind of shocked this morning That Mabel knew my name and form that day onward our friendship formed beside they were both intelligent and smart and also safinatu was a funny clown so I didn't see a problem being friends with them .ok
