"Where do you both think you are going to?" Lucian said grinning as Sabrina and Lyon turned to face him. Lucian had just been passing by when he smelt the familiar scent, It was the smell of a werewolf, he grinned and looked at Sabrina's door, the smell was stronger there.
"You are not going anywhere..... Not with my wife at least-"
"You forced her into marrying you, Prince Lucian, it's wrong, she doesn't love you, we love each other," Lyon said and Lucian just grinned.
"Am sure you both do, Prince Lyon, should I say?" Lucian grin widen further, as Lyon stood with a frown on his face, after his packs and his aunt, This vampire also knows of his true identity, Sabrina turned to look at him,
"Prince?" She asked Lyon confused who slowly turned to look at her.
"I am the crown Prince of Winter empire," Sabrina gasp in shock as she stared at Lyon.
"Aren't the royal family of Winter, werewolves? Which means you are a..... werewolf," Sabrina said in shock.
"Smart girl," Lucian said, "And he is not just an ordinary werewolf, he is an Alpha and also royalty, right Lyon?" Lucian asked mischievously.
"Why didn't you tell me!" Sabrina said with a frown, "You kept it all from me!"
"I was going to tell you after we escaped from here, I wanted to make you my Queen and introduce you to my parent," Lyon explained.
"So Aunt Valerie isn't your mother? How is that possible, she nursed you from a baby?"
"I will explain it all to you later, once we are out of here," as he said this, he turned to Lucian who just smirked.
"You are a stubborn one, I see," Lucian stated "Sabrina why don't you tell your lover to leave this instant before I loose my patient with the both of you," Sabrina quickly grabbed Lyon's hand protectively and Lyon turned to look at her.
"Don't be afraid, we are leaving here together and there is nothing this jerk can do!" Lyon turned and glared at Lucian.
"Really?" Lucian asked moving close to them, as Sabrina stared in fright as he came closer, till he was standing so close to Lyon, who stood his ground and stared back at him in the eye.
"You think I can't hurt you?" Lucian asked again, this time with a serious expression on his face as the two men stared at each other.
"Yes you can't, Sabrina is mine-"
Lyon wasn't able to complete his words as Lucian punched him hard on his chin, making him stagger back, Sabrina quickly went to hold him, only to be shoved to the bed by Lucian, who went close to Lyon again and started punching him, in his stomach, under his jaw, on his chin and also kicking him with his fast reflexes.
"Stop! You are hurting him!" Sabrina yelled but to no avail as Lucian kept hitting Lyon, Lyon also hit Lucian in his face, both men's face was badly injured, Sabrina quickly went to hug Lucian from behind, holding him tight and Lucian suddenly stopped punching Lyon.
"You have to leave now, Lyon!" Sabrina yelled as tears stinged her eyes.
"No..... No I won't leave without you," Lyon said wincing as he had been hurt badly by the crazy vampire who now glared at him.
"Please you have to leave! He would hurt you more if you don't, I don't like to see you get hurt, please," Sabrina pleaded still holding Lucian tight from behind, "Go now!" She shouted out and Lyon had no choice but to, he left the room unhappily, Sabrina then released her hold on Lucian and stepped back only to be pulled by the waist again, by Lucian as she gasp and struggled out of his tight hold.
"Let me go!" Sabrina said struggling.
"Stop! Don't move!" Immediately Sabrina stopped after hearing his command, then she looked at his face where fresh injury was still visible, suddenly she saw the wounds slowly start to heal, till his face turned spotless and smoother than before and he glared at her.
"You have some nerves, wife," he said coldly, "Do you really think you could just run away with him and I wouldn't find you! You are wrong and do not ever let this repeat itself again, or you would loose that lover of yours," he glared at her as he shoved her to the bed, "Get ready to be punished tonight for trying to elope with your lover," as he said this, he walked out of the room and Sabrina couldn't help but worry about Lyon, he seemed very hurt.
By noon even Elena's mother had arrived and the royal stylist and maids had started dressing Sabrina as she just stared at herself in the mirror in front of her, they wore expensive jewelry on her neck, ears and wrist, they put on the veil for her after she had worn her gown, they also wore a princess like crown on her head.
"You look so beautiful, Princess," Aurora said smiling at Sabrina as other maids nodded in agreement. There was a knock on the door, as Sarphina stepped in and smiled looking at her daughter with tears in her eyes.
"You look like an angel," she simply said as she hugged her daughter, who burst into tears shaking her head, "Come on stop crying, you will ruin everything," Sarphina scolded her.
"Mother, I don't want to live without you here," Sabrina said unhappily as the maids just stood and stared at them.
"You know you can't always live with me forever, you will have to get married and live with your in laws someday," Sarphina said to her daughter, "Now it's time, since you don't have a father, the King has said he would walk you down the aisle,"
"Really? That's so nice of him," Sabrina said as she smiled and together with the maid carrying her long gown from behind, they went to the living room and stood at the hall entrance where Delcrov was waiting for her, a maid have her a flower bouquet to carry and she smiled nervous,
"You look beautiful," Delcrov said and she smiled at him.
"Thank you, My King, you are looking handsome too. And also thank you for acting as a father figure for me on this day, am sure my father would be grateful to you wherever he is," she said.
"Am honoured," Delcrov smiled as they heard the music start to play, the guards opened the door and Sabrina took a deep breath as she saw lots of people sitted, both people from the village and royal families from other empires, even Lyon was there with his family, up the wedding altar she could see Lucian, handsomely dressed in grey suit and pants, his silver hair was combed back elegantly with a crown on his head, he was looking really handsome as he turned to look at her and he grinned.
"Shall we?" Delcrov asked with his arm raised and Sabrina linked her arm with his as they walked down the aisle, Sabrina counted her heart beats as she got closer to Lucian, who watched her get closer before she knew it, she was standing in front of him as he grinned at her. On the other hand Beth, Penelope and Vivian glared at her. Was he really going to punish her tonight? On their wedding night? She prayed he doesn't touch her tonight, Sabrina thought as she stared at him, the priest standing with them started,
"Today we have gathered here to witness the binding together of this couple, may the Lord see us through," he started the process, they exchanged rings and then he said,
"Do you Lucian Hawthorne take Sabrina Farrell to be your wife to have and to hold from this day forward, for better or for worse, for richer or for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish till death do you apart?"
"I do," Lucian grinned looking at her as he said.
"Do you Sabrina Farrell take Lucian Hawthorne to be your husband to have and to hold from this day forward, for better or for worse, for richer or for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish till death do you apart?"
There was silence, Sabrina doesn't want his as her husband, he grinned further when he noticed her reluctance to speak, as people started murmuring, one look that Sabrina took at Lucian's face, she saw the coldness in them and she gulped,
"Ye..... Yes I do," she finally said as the priest smiled,
"Do you both promise to love and cherish each other, to stand side by side through all of life's joys and challenges and to build a life together that is rooted in love, trust and mutual respect?"
"Yes we do," They both said
"I now pronounce you man and wife, King and Queen, Seal your love with a kiss and may it forever be reminded of the vows you've made to each other today,"
Lucian wrapped his arm around her tiny waist, her eyes widen as he pulled her close and touched his lips to hers and everyone clapped. After the ceremony the party continued as people danced and talked, Lucian and Sabrina sat on their throne like chairs as they watched, it was already late at night. Suddenly Elena rushed towards them, dressed beautifully and smiling.
"You both should not just sit there boring, come and dance together please," Elena said as some people stared at them, Lyon stared at them unhappily, the woman he loved has just gotten married to another man and he couldn't do anything but just watch.
"No please, Elena," Sabrina said as she shook her head, she was so exhausted she didn't want to dance with him.
"Why not? We haven't danced yet," Lucian said getting up and offering his hand for Sabrina to take as Elena stared and smiled with tears in her eyes. Sabrina had no choice but to accept his offer to join him dancing, he led her to the middle of the hall as others stopped dancing to let the newly wed have their first dance this evening, Lucian once again wrapped his arms around Sabrina's waist, while she wrapped hers around his neck and they stared into each other's eyes and swayed in the dimed room, Sabrina nestled her face in the crook of Lucian's neck, her cheek against his skin. Lucian's hands cradled Sabrina's waist, his fingers splayed across her hips, holding her tight. His own chin rested on her forehead, his eyes gazing down at her. As they glide across the floor, their bodies moved as one, their steps synchronized. Sabrina's arms tightened around Lucian's neck with her body swaying to the rhythm, they were lost in the moment their hearts beating in unison, as Sabrina was supprised at the new feeling awakening in her for this vampire, the music swelled and they twirled, their bodies spinning together. After the dance and some time enjoying the party, the newly wed were sent to their room, Sabrina was the first taken to the room by her mother, she sitted Sabrina on the bed gently and stared at her.
"You are now married, my dear, I pray for nothing but your happiness and I am happy that you have settled into a wealthy and prestigious family, I know they would take good care of you, you would never suffer my dear," Sarphina said with a smile.
"But-"
"No ifs or buts today, make your husband happy, make a baby with him, make him love you more than his first wife," Sarphina said and got up "I will leave now," she said and left. Sabrina stared around the room, it was her first time being in Lucian's room, it was very spacious and painted in an odd color, she got up and moved to the window and stared out.
"How do you like the view, sprout?" Lucian spoke from behind her and she turned to look at him, still as handsome as ever.
"Pretty," she replied, her heart skipped a beat when she saw him move closer to her, he stopped just a few inches away from her.
"Why is your little heart dancing alot tonight, it must be happy, don't you think?"
