A good part of my period in my childhood was so turbulent.
Looking back at it from this age and point of view, I can see that I clearly went through a bit more than I had imagined.
My teen years were a constant rollercoaster.
So chaotic...
So unsteady...
So Imbalanced...
Between being trapped in the hollowed depths of ragging puberty, stumbling through the gauntlet of emotions and confusion that comes with finding and losing your first love, and feeling alienated and abandoned by my father, not to mention having to navigate all of that while being sling-shotted about the foster care system...
Man.
I think I turned out to be a half-decent and mostly mentally stable adult.
Mostly.
At least I have a really good sense of humor lol.
A big part of me wishes that I hadn't destroyed or burned many of my old journals.
They probably held a lot of answers to thoughts and feeling that plague me to this day.
Hold on to those you have some.
And advise your kids to keep theirs if they have some.
It'll do some good 20 years from now.
In closing...
Take care of your inner child folks.
Go check in on them and make sure they...YOU are okay.
I mean it.
Love yourself.
AND IF YOU HAVE A 13-15 YEAR OLD AROUND THE HOUSE, GO CHECK ON THEM!
Could you imagine a modernized, social media dipped version of young me!?
Nope...
NOOOOOOOOOO.
I wouldn't want to deal with that amount of pure angst lmao.
Seriously though, thank you all for joining me on this journey.
You have been my inspiration in posting this cringe fest in the first place.
So its all your fault.
And shit, looking back now, it wasn't all that bad...
Was it?
