Respectable

Out of his frustration Thamo suddenly threw a punch at Avon but he dodged it reflexively and then jumped back moving away from Thamo.

"YOU INSOLENT BEING! I GAVE THE PEACFULE OPTION YET YOU CHOOSE TO OPPOSE ME! NOW PAY THE PRICE!"

'what is wrong with this guy? Does he think he has authority over everyone here?'

The very next moment Thamo launched another set of attacks towards Avon. Avon who had guessed the trajectory of the punches was ready to dodge but to his surprise, Thamo's movements became fast mid-action which should not be possible naturally. Avon barely dodged the punches and decided to just drop down on the floor so that the hits go over him as he wasn't moving back quickly enough. As soon and Avon's knees touched the ground, he moved sideways but leaving one leg extended in Thamo's way. Thamo whose 4 punches had hit just the air was moving forward due to some external momentum which Avon didn't understand how he aquired. Thamo tripped over Avon's leg and fell down with his face forward. Avon's leg pained a little too as Thamo was moving fast.

Then Avon quickly stood up and decided to maintain some distance by going a few steps back. Thamo was currently better than him in combat. Thamo had been learning combat since the first day whereas Avon just 9 days. So Thamo was still better skill wise and with whatever he was using to increase his speed, Avon knew the fight would be tough. Thamo stood up, his nose was bleeding and he looked at Avon with an angry look and launched at him in full speed. This time due to the distance between the Avon had the time to dodge properly and placed his leg in Thamo's path again and Thamo fell face down again. The other students has gathered to see the fight which Avon hadn't noticed so far. He noticed it now because they all started to laugh since Thamo fell face down twice in a row. Thamo stood up again now his lips and chin were covered in blood. "SILENCE" he shouted at the other students and suddenly a knife like structure formed on his hand out of nowhere. He again launched himself at Avon with the knife. This time Thamo's speed increased again mid-action and Avon barely dodged it but lost his balance and in the fraction of the second that Avon got his balance back in Thamo was already near Avon. Avon could see his death before his eyes when suddenly the he was pulled aside by someone and the knife was stopped.

"Do you not think you have gone far enough, Thamo Jyron?"

"Sylvia.." Avon muttered.

Thamo stopped dead in his tracks. It seemed like he didn't dare offend Sylvia.

She looked at Avon and said " come with me please ", then began pulling his away.

Suddenly Thamo screamed "SYLVIA? WHY ARE YOU PROTECTING HIM! THAT LOWLY BASTARD WITH NO STATUS! YOU SHOULD BE WITH ME. ONLY I, A JYRON AM FIT FOR YOU, A STELLA!"

At this point Avon saw a glint of murderous intent in Sylvia's eyes.

"I have had enough of your nonsense Thamo Jyron. You better stop these meaningless ramblings!"

Thamo who didn't listen came to grab her by the hand, that moment Avon knew that Thamo was done for. Sylvia caught his hand twisted it, his entire body spun mid air and *smack* straight down on the floor. It looked very brutal. Thamo did not stand up again. Sylvia then said "follow me " while looking at Avon and lead him outside the academy. They walked for a while and then she took him to the cafe where he had gone with Aveline before.

' Maybe this cafe is popular ' he thought and then Sylvia sat at a table and so did Avon. Then Sylvia ordered a drink and Avon, who didn't understand what the menu said decided to ask Sylvia.

"Umm....I don't understand this menu well, can you tell me a drink which is cold and refreshing to drink. "

"Of course, try the Elecola. It is very good for refreshing your mind. "

"Thanks"

Then Avon followed Sylvia's actions and successfully placed the order through the screen on the table. It wasn't that complex.

Then they finally decided to pay individually for their drinks and then Sylvia left first while Avon just looked around the street wondering whether to buy one more Elecola or not. It wasn't that expensive so he was still pondering when suddenly he heard a familiar voice " Hello Avon, What are you doing here" he turned around and saw Aveline.
