I woke up to the sunlight hitting my face. 


"Good, finally you're awake," a voice said from the side. I turned to see Serpent sitting in a chair, reading a book. 


"Why are you here?" I asked, recalling what had happened before I ended up here. 


"Why not? You were entrusted to me, right? Plus, you’ve been asleep for a whole day after getting the X2X formula in your body," she said, still reading, not looking up at me. 


"By the way, how’s the competition?" I asked. 


"That’s what you’re thinking about, Ms. Arcie Solomon or Hayumi Takashi A.K.A. Silver?!" She stood up and placed her hands on her hips in front of me. 


"If you don’t want to say it, then don’t!" I snapped, rolling my eyes.
