"Finally," as soon as I entered the Dean's office, the man I feared would kill me was already waiting for me. "You’re so slow to get here," he said, shaking his head while glaring at me.
He boredly stood up from the swivel chair. "I actually have something for you since you finally made it here. Please accept this as a reward."
My eyes widened when I saw who he pulled out from the corner. It was Serpent. Her body was battered, covered in bruises, and full of cuts, both on her hands and face. What the hell.
"What did you do?!" I screamed, furious.
"This wouldn't have happened to her if she hadn't gotten in my way. And if she hadn't recognized my true nature," he laughed as he tossed Serpent’s body towards me as if it were just a sack of rice. "Don't worry. She's’s still alive, but she’ll eventually die from blood loss. And of course, it's your fault. You're so weak."
"Damn you! Who the hell are you?" I shouted, pulling out my katana.
