The door was opened by a little boy, who, like his mother, had a pair of perceptive eyes. It was quite surprising to discover that Tiana was a mother to a young child, and a single mother at that.
The boy was hunched over a small wooden desk in the corner of the living room, doing his homework. The house was old, a one-bedroom apartment with a small partitioned space for the child.
The boy was very considerate. When he saw the adults return, and noticed that one of the uncles had been injured, he instinctively moved his desk and chair to the other room to do his homework.
With so many people around, the space was cramped, and it was hard to even turn around. While Tiana was tending to Mandy's injury, Capone casually walked around the room, taking in every little detail.
"Why aren't there any photos of you and your family?" He noticed that she didn't have any family photos around. Not a single one.
