Lisa's POV
It was first dark when I got into the house, but then he flicked the light switch on, revealing a covered couch and lamps. There were so many things in the living room that looked like a dump.
"I wasn't supposed to be in this town, but it seemed like the best place to live a life filled with unexpected events, something out of the normal and mostly unpredictable. And I was right—well, almost."
He took the tarp off a couch and sat down.
There were boxes all around; he pulled one closer, and he placed it before me.
"I brought all this directly from home; these are my pictures, my sister, brothers, Noah, and everyone in my family. The other box are my personal journals; third over there are... I don't know you might as well just have to check them."
He pulled them closer to me and dropped some on the couch.
"You didn't have to do this."
