Chapter 104

Damian's POV

Nothing made sense. It does not come together; it doesn't align; my grandfather had nothing to do with politics; matter of fact, he hated it. Love? What does she mean love? My grandfather married the love of his life; he would tell us time after time how much he liked my grandmother because she was a major attribute in his success.

"I brought you here because I was a friend to your granddad; call me your fairy god mother, if it suits you. I promised to stay away, damian, but I can't hold it anymore. You are being so foolish and it hurts."

She commanded some people to come toward her, two hefty men came by. And they pulled the seat I was strapped to, then moved it outside the room, right after removing the needles connected to my legs. Wheeled to another less bright room, I was placed before a well-established screen. There I saw Lisa's image on it; she had two little girls in her hands.
