"Everyone is ready," Aurora confirmed, her gaze meeting Aaron's.
Aaron turned to Emily, who swiftly produced a crimson gemstone. With practiced movements, she began inscribing a complex transportation circle onto its surface.
"That is a transportation circle. Where are we going?" Aurora asked Aaron, her curiosity piqued.
'Does my Mom know everything?' Aaron wondered, a wry smile playing on his lips as he scratched the back of his head.
"We are going to the third Continent," he announced.
"Really?" Lilly's eyes widened in astonishment.
"Yes," Aaron affirmed.
"It's done," Emily declared, her voice soft as a shimmering gateway materialized before her.
"You guys should go first," Aaron said calmly, his gaze sweeping over his mother and sister.
Lilly nodded eagerly and stepped through the portal, Snow flying in after her. Aurora followed with a thoughtful expression.
"What are you planning, Master?" Protean asked, a hint of suspicion in his mental voice.
"Tell me the Talos King's exact location," Aaron said to Emily, his attention focused on the demon girl, ignoring Protean's query.
"What about the Queen?" Emily asked, concern etched on her face.
"Take them to the village. We'll kill that bastard and come find you," Aaron stated firmly.
Emily hesitated for a moment, her red eyes searching his. Then, she nodded decisively. "The Talos King is deep within the mountain range, north from here. You'll see the mountains when you exit the forest… Be careful, Aaron."
"Thank you," Aaron replied, a small, genuine smile touching his lips.
She nodded and handed him the crimson gemstone.
"The transportation circle is really—" Emily began.
"—I know how to draw it," Aaron interrupted confidently.
A faint smile touched Emily's lips upon hearing his words. "Okay, Aaron. We'll wait for you in the village." With that, she stepped into the gateway, which shimmered and closed behind her.
"Where are the cores, Protean?" Aaron asked, turning to the red skeleton.
"Here," Protean replied, handing him a bag containing a total of nineteen Talos cores. Aaron accepted the bag with a nod. He arranged the cores around him and sat cross-legged in the center.
"Stay on guard, Protean. I don't know how long it will take me to absorb everything and enter the Saint Realm, or better yet, Legendary Saint," Aaron instructed.
Protean nodded silently and stood watchfully behind him as Aaron closed his eyes, beginning the process of absorbing the cores.
___
"Where is Aaron?" Aurora asked quickly, her eyes scanning the small group that had emerged from the gateway, noticing her son's absence.
"The Prince said he has to take care of something important and that we shouldn't wait for him," Emily explained, carefully omitting the fact that Aaron was heading after the Talos' King, a Demon-Stage monster.
Aurora was silent for a moment, her gaze distant. Then, she nodded slowly. "Aaron will never do anything that will put his life at undue risk. He'll be fine."
"Mom, you're forgetting Aaron is just six months old," Lilly pointed out, her brow furrowed with worry.
"Fufufu… True, but he's stronger than those ten or even twenty years ahead of him," Aurora said with a knowing smile.
'So, the young Prince was telling the truth. He really is only six months old. I thought he was lying to my Dad,' Emily thought in astonishment.
"Hey, Emily, is that an enchanted ring on your finger?" Lilly asked, her attention drawn to the silver band.
"Oh, yes. It's my pet," Emily replied.
"Can I see it?" Lilly asked, her curiosity piqued.
"She's injured," Emily said, beginning to walk towards the village. "This way," she directed.
"Injured? Let me see her. Maybe I can help," Lilly offered kindly.
"Are you a Mage?" Emily asked, turning to Lilly, her red eyes studying the younger girl.
"You speak as if you're older than me, but yes, I am a mage," Lilly said, puffing out her chest slightly.
'It wouldn't hurt to try. Precious is my only close friend, and it's because of me that she's injured.' After a moment of hesitation, Emily stopped and turned to face the two elves.
"Precious, show yourself," she murmured.
A magnificent silver phoenix shimmered into existence before them, only to falter and fall to the ground moments later. Emily rushed to her familiar's side, kneeling down and gently stroking its feathers.
"Can you help her?" she asked, looking up at Lilly with pleading eyes.
"She is so beautiful! Don't worry," Lilly said softly, kneeling down in front of Precious and extending her hand towards the injured phoenix.
"Evocans Potestatem medendi."
[Calling forth the power of healing]
A faint green light emanated from Lilly's hand, bathing the deep, four-centimeter gash on the phoenix's wing. Emily and Aurora, with Snow perched on Lilly's shoulder, watched in hopeful silence as the cut slowly began to close.
"Hii…" Precious opened its weak eyes, taking in its surroundings.
"Master…" the phoenix chirped weakly.
"Precious!" Emily cried, giving her familiar a tight hug. "Thank you, My Princess. We will return this favor," she said, a rare and genuine smile gracing her lips.
"It's nothing. The only thing you can help me with is to look after us in the village," Lilly said with a small, friendly smile. "How did Precious get injured so badly?" she inquired.
"When we were in the forest yesterday, we encountered a Demon-Stage monster. Precious saved me by placing herself in the path of its attack," Emily explained, hugging her familiar more tightly.
"Demon-Stage! And you survived? That's admirable," Lilly said with a smile. She flicked her wrist, and a small vial filled with a murky liquid appeared in her hand. "My brother made this. It has a horrible smell, but it can hide you from being detected by any stage monster… I'm not entirely sure if it works on any stage, but a Demon-Stage definitely won't be able to detect you."
"You are giving this to me?" Emily asked, her red eyes fixed on the potion in Lilly's hand.
"Yes, take it," Lilly insisted, handing the vial to the demon girl.
"Thank you," Emily said gratefully.
"Yes, thank you," Precious echoed weakly.
Lilly nodded at Precious and Emily, a warm smile on her face. "It's nothing. I have fifty more with me… Do you want more?"
Emily and Precious blinked a couple of times, utterly perplexed by the young elf's generosity.
[Two Hours Later.]
"When will my Master be done? I shouldn't have suggested adding more cores," Protean muttered, his gaze shifting to the six dead Griffins lying nearby.
BOOM!!!!
A powerful surge of Sid energy erupted from Aaron, instantly turning all the trees and monsters within a thirty-meter radius into dust. Protean looked around in bewildered surprise.
"Such a potent amount of Sid energy… I thought I was done for," he murmured, his gaze sweeping over the devastated area.
"That energy leveled the forest?!"
Aaron slowly opened his eyes, a satisfied smile spreading across his face as he observed himself.
"No one will ever believe a six-month-old child could enter the Legendary Saint Realm," he murmured, slowly standing to his feet.
"What happened here?" he asked, looking around in feigned confusion.
"Did you just ask that, Master?" Protean stared at him with mock reproach.
"Forget it," Aaron said, stretching his limbs while glancing around, a touch of bewilderment in his eyes. "Where is the house? Did I destroy it too?"
Protean simply glared at him.
"Okay, okay. But we'll have to hide this from Lilly, or she'll tear me into pieces," Aaron said with a sheepish grin, then looked down at his hand.

'It seems because I'm still a baby, my stats are lower than what's typical for the realm I'm in. Will I be able to defeat the Demon-Stage King with these relatively low stats? Maybe I can outsmart it. But… why is my class still "None"?'
Protean transformed into a small baby griffin and landed gently on Aaron's shoulder. "What are we waiting for?"
"Come on, let's go kill that bastard," Aaron said, looking around the now-desolate clearing before heading north, Protean perched on his shoulder.
"And thanks for the extra six cores," he added with a sly grin.
