Illusion Card Billboard

To get a glimpse of the illusion card billboards, the best place to visit is the busiest commercial street in East Business City—Gold Street.

Gold Street is one of the oldest streets in East Business City, having existed since the city's founding. Now, it has become the commercial hub of the entire city. Lined with towering buildings and bustling with people, the street is filled with shops, and nearly all the top-tier businesses have their storefronts here. If Chris wants to study illusion cards, there couldn't be a more suitable place.

Every shop on this street, no matter how small, has an illusion card billboard. Especially at night, the beautiful glow emitted by these billboards makes the area feel like a scene from a fairy tale. The night view of Gold Street is beloved by both locals and tourists alike.

After thinking it over, Chris was surprised to realize that this might actually be his first time on Gold Street.

As one of the city's landmarks, Gold Street strictly prohibits the entry of vagrants and beggars. In the years that followed, Chris was entirely absorbed in studying cards, and activities like shopping or strolling around never made it onto his schedule.

So many people! That was Chris's first impression upon entering Gold Street. The crowds surged everywhere, making it necessary to walk carefully to avoid bumping into others. It was a bit overwhelming for him at first. However, he quickly shifted his focus to the illusion card billboards on the surrounding storefronts.

Plump breasts, slim waists, curvy hips, bright eyes, white teeth, and red lips, all paired with teasing, captivating glances. What puzzled Chris the most was that the illusion card billboards he saw featured beautiful women more often than anything else. These women either stood gracefully or bent over in inviting gestures, with their barely concealed cleavage and seductive expressions making them truly alluring.

He kept walking, barely glancing at the illusion card ads featuring beautiful women. He soon noticed that the larger the business, the more creative and exquisite its illusion card advertisements were. For example, the one he was currently looking at. The illusion it projected was enormous, about two stories high. Chris stood in a daze at the entrance of the shopping mall, staring up at the illusion displayed on the billboard, completely absorbed and lost in the moment:

From the city's night sky, the view below reveals towering skyscrapers bathed in brilliant lights. A stern-faced man dressed in black stands atop one of the tallest buildings, gazing coldly into the distance.

In a shadowy corner of a dark street, a blind man seems to sense something, lifting his head as his empty eyes point toward the vacant horizon.

Moonlight fills a room where a woman clad in tight brown leather is gently wiping a card, only to suddenly raise her head.

Faces—some mature, some youthful, some beautiful, some grotesque—flash rapidly.

The music becomes tense and gripping. From above, shadows dart between the skyscrapers, each figure displaying extraordinary agility, yet every face is marked with deep seriousness. The rhythm of the accompanying drums tightens, heightening the suspense.

More and more people appear, all sprinting swiftly in the same direction.

Roar!

A deep, thunderous bellow from a beast unlike any Chris had ever heard before reverberated through the air, shaking the very earth. As if in response to this roar, a deafening chorus of wild beasts' cries surged like a massive wave, crashing toward him. Outside the city, countless wild creatures charged forward like a relentless flood. The people running desperately quickened their pace, pushing themselves even harder. Finally, the two forces collided!

Fiery dragons, cool crescent-shaped wave blades, and brilliant meteor showers… each appeared in this space one after another, their colors and lighting shifting in complex and unpredictable ways, dazzling the eye. The intense clashes ignited countless bursts of light, illuminating the night. The battle was so fierce it was almost suffocating.

Surrounding the man in black, a fiery dragon circled and danced. Each of his attacks was powerful and imposing, often accompanied by explosive sounds, making him resemble a war deity.

The woman in the brown, tight-fitting leather suit skillfully dodged the beasts' attacks with agility. At the same time, she continuously unleashed cyan and white crescent-shaped wave blades with pinpoint accuracy, looking exceptionally impressive.

The blind man, leaning on a bamboo cane, ghosted through the beast swarm. Each time he gently tapped the ground with the cane, hundreds of light points would appear behind him. When he tapped again, these light points would soar towards a direction, piercing through the beasts and leaving long trails in the night sky, resembling a meteor shower.

...

There was no doubt that humanity ultimately won the battle. The final close-up, however, focused on the cards in the hands of these heroes, revealing the store's logo—Dual Ring Card Store.

The display was truly dazzling and captivating!

Chris couldn't help but be surprised in his heart. It was clear that this illusion card advertisement was not of a very high level, only two stars. However, its content was extremely rich, and the characters and buildings within the illusion were highly realistic. What was most commendable was the intense visual impact of the special effects. It was a very successful illusion card advertisement, highly captivating!

Chris could guess that an illusion card advertisement like this would certainly be very expensive. Although this illusion card billboard isn't of a very high level, its production difficulty is quite high. The content is very rich, and a two-star illusion card simply couldn't accommodate so much content. It likely contains at least five illusion cards, but the transitions between them are seamless, making it difficult to discern unless you're a card maker.

Indeed, this world is full of talented people! It's not something everyone can achieve for a two-star illusion card to reach such a level. Chris knows he is still far from reaching this point. At least this experience has broadened his horizons.

The sales assistant at the Dual Ring Card Store was quite peculiar. The person at the door had been standing there for half an hour, seemingly observing the illusion card advertisement. This ad was created two years ago at great expense and had caused a sensation throughout East Business City when it was first released. Even now, thinking back to the glory of that time filled them with pride. Every day, people would gather in circles outside, all to view this advertisement. It was also from that year that the store's revenue began to increase at an astonishing rate.

No matter how great an advertisement is, after two years, people's interest tends to wane. Gradually, fewer and fewer people watched this ad, and now hardly anyone does. They had originally planned to replace this illusion card billboard, but the card maker who created it had already passed away. They tried several other renowned card makers, but none could match the quality of this one, so the ad was never replaced. The young lady was amazed that someone was still interested in this advertisement, considering it a rare occurrence.

After a while, the strange young man continued to stare at the illusion card billboard. The sales clerk felt that having someone standing at the door for too long might affect business, so she decided to take the coversation.

"Hello, is there something you need to buy?"

Chris was startled and snapped out of his trance. He shook his head and replied, "No, thank you." Understanding the sales clerk's intent, he didn't say anything more and turned to leave.
