**Elena's POV:**

The afternoon dragged on as Elena tried to focus on her work, but her mind kept returning to David's chilling visit and the ominous USB drive he had brandished. She couldn't shake the feeling of impending dread, knowing that every move she made was under David's scrutinizing eye. Her relationship with Sienna was becoming increasingly difficult to navigate, with David's threats casting a long shadow over everything.

As she worked, her phone buzzed with a new message. She glanced at it, hoping for a distraction, and saw that it was from Sienna.

**Sienna's Message:**

*Hey, are you okay? I can tell something's off. Let me know if you need to talk.*

Elena's heart ached at the sincerity in Sienna's message. She hesitated before typing a response, unsure of how much to reveal.

*I'm fine. Just dealing with some personal issues. Thanks for checking in. I'll see you tomorrow for the presentation.*

She hit send, hoping it would be enough to reassure Sienna without giving away too much. But as she looked out the window, her thoughts drifted back to the threat David had made. He wasn't just a possessive ex—he was a dangerous manipulator, willing to use anything at his disposal to control her.

*Hey, Sebby. I could really use your advice. Can we talk?*

Sebby's brows furrowed. He knew that Sienna didn't usually ask for advice unless something was seriously bothering her. He quickly typed a response.

*Sure, what's up? You know I'm always here to help.*

A few minutes later, Sienna called him. He answered with a casual tone, trying to mask his concern.

"Hey, Sienna. What's going on?"

Sienna's voice came through the speaker, sounding more troubled than usual. "Hey, Sebby. I'm really worried about Elena. Something's not right, and I feel like she's hiding something from me. She's been acting really distant, and then David showed up in the office today…"

Sebby listened intently, his mind racing as he absorbed the details. David was clearly a problem, but the gravity of the situation wasn't fully clear to him yet.

"David, huh? That guy gives me the creeps. What exactly happened?"

Sienna recounted the encounter, including the tense conversation and David's menacing demeanor. By the end of it, Sebby was genuinely concerned.

"Listen, Sienna, if Elena's in trouble, she might need more support than she's letting on. Keep your eyes open and try to get her to open up. And if you think there's any danger, don't hesitate to involve the authorities or someone who can help."

Sienna nodded, even though Sebby couldn't see her. "I'll keep that in mind. Thanks, Sebby."

As the call ended, Sebby leaned back in his chair, a knot of worry tightening in his chest. He knew that Elena's issues were serious, and he hoped Sienna could get through to her before things got worse.

**Elena's POV:**
