Chapter 38: Competition to create momentum

There are a few lonely buildings in the north of the Vinda community near the Charles River. This was once a small wharf on the banks of the Charles River, but it has now been completely rented out by Vinda Logistics as a logistics hub for the company.

From the chairman's office on the top floor of the company's office building came loud, rousing, heavy breathing. A smooth, brown back was turned to the door, and she straddled an obese American, rising and falling on top of him. Her long, dark red hair flew up and down with her movements. There was no doubt that they were the source of the breathing.

The photos and business cards on the desk all displayed the name of the fat man: he was the chairman of Vinda Logistics, Bertel.

Suddenly, Bottlebottle reached out and gave the woman a hard slap on the buttocks, and yelled, 'Move faster! You damned little Mexican bitch, every time I see your face, it's like looking at those Chinese riffraff. They're the filthiest, most infuriating things imaginable, and I just want to stab you in the body and throw you into the Charles River!'

As he spoke, Bertoub reached for the woman's breasts and squeezed them very hard. The woman immediately cried out in pain, 'Let go, you're hurting me, you damn fat butterball!'

But Bertel, as if he hadn't heard, squeezed harder and harder. His lower body thrust upwards very hard, while he gasped for breath and grinned evilly, 'Scream, you damned Asian bitch, I love it when you struggle and scream but there's nothing you can do about it, it turns me on even more. Come on, you bitch, you just seemed to be cursing me, see how I'll kill you!'

With the last series of shouts from Bertel, the movements of the two finally stopped. The woman lay on Bertel panting for a while, then got up and said, 'What the hell were you doing today? You almost killed me!'

Bertel, who had not yet recovered, laughed, 'But you're not dead now, are you? You were really something just now. I'll give you an extra $100 on this month's bonus.'

'Only a hundred dollars? Do you think this is a casino? You know how you grabbed me just now, I still have a bruise there. If you only give me a hundred dollars, you can go to hell! I'm not one of those weak Chinese people, believe it or not, next time I'll get AIDS and come back to kill you!' The woman roared, and even crumpled the toilet paper she had just used to wipe herself with into a ball and threw it at Botter with all her might.

Botter picked up the paper, held it in front of his nose and gave it a sniff, then grinned evilly: 'Those Chinese are really a nasty lot! But unfortunately they were defeated by me. It's a feeling like this piece of paper, which exudes a fascinating fragrance.'

The woman spat at him, but Botterbom just laughed. He casually threw the toilet paper into the trash can and then said to the woman, 'Okay, you bitch from Mexico, do you think you're better than the whores at the casino? Did you have something to tell me?'

'Damn, you really are a son of a bitch who deserves to go to hell!' The woman scolded Botbol, then said to him, "I just wanted to tell you that another company called Meitong Logistics opened its doors today in the Weida community.'

Botbol was stunned for a moment and said, "Meitong Logistics? I haven't heard of this logistics company. Is it newly registered?'

The woman replied curtly, 'I don't know. I'm not your secret agent. I just happened to see it when I went to work today. Go find out what information you want for yourself.'

'You bitch, you took my money and didn't do your job?' Baotuo Bo cursed.

The woman laughed, 'My Mr. Baotuo Bo, you really are an idiot. Since you know I'm a bitch, do you still expect me to do my job? Take your time investigating, I'm going to take a shower. You've made me feel so uncomfortable!'

After saying this, the woman picked up the underwear on the floor, put it in her pocket, and walked out of the office with her hips swaying. Botter called her a bitch again, but after a moment of calm reflection, he quickly pulled up his trousers, grabbed the car keys, and also walked out of the office. He went downstairs, got into his car, and went to the Meitong logistics company.

The Weida community is not particularly large, and Bert has lived here for more than ten years since he started his business. Starting from the lowest level as a deliveryman, he can now navigate the community with his eyes closed. So it took him just five minutes to find the Meitong Logistics Company.

Unlike Baotuo's logistics company, this company is located at the intersection of the east gate of the Vinda community. This location is quite conspicuous and can be seen by almost everyone leaving the east gate. For this reason, when Baotuo arrived, there were already quite a few onlookers gathered in front of the company, eager to find out the truth.

Bautbo sat in the car, rolled down the window and looked at the logistics company over there, grinned and said, 'Where did this wild kid from come from to dare open a logistics company here? It seems that no one has given him a popularisation of knowledge, but that's good too, because I haven't competed with anyone in a long time and I just want to find someone to take out my anger...'

But Bautbo's words came to an abrupt end here, because he saw the person coming out of the building, and it was the black man who had been by Zhou Ming's side the other day, and also his competitor Omar.

A bad feeling came over Botbol: Could it be that this so-called Meitong Logistics company was set up just to cause trouble for him? These sons of bitches really never let a man have a moment's peace.

Botbol got out of the car angrily, pushed his way through the crowd and came up to the logistics company. But just as he was about to point at Omar and start shouting abuse, he froze because he saw an advertisement being broadcast on the TV next to him.

The advertisement showed customers delivering goods to the logistics company, but the people at the logistics company opened the goods in the warehouse to see if they were what they needed. If they were, they took them; if not, they laughed at the rubbish. At the end of the advertisement, a little girl stood up and said that Meitong Logistics did not have a warehouse and that Meitong Logistics was only a porter.

When he saw this advertisement, Botbol's lungs were about to burst with anger. He jumped out and pointed at Omar, shouting, 'Your advertisement is slander and defamation! You shameless scoundrel!'

Although it was only the first day of operation for Meitong Logistics, Omar was not at all surprised that Botbol would suddenly show up. He still smiled and said to him, 'Hello, Chairman Botbol. I'm curious why you're angry. Is this behaviour typical of your company, Veda Logistics? I'm here to compete with you, but if that's the case, then it would be a real shame!'

As Omar spoke, the people around him also began to discuss the matter. 'I think Mr Omar is right. There must be something wrong with Veda Logistics. I've lost something there once, and they were very irresponsible. Now I think they might have even stolen it. They're not a logistics company, they're a thief.'

Someone else said, 'Another important point is that he makes us lose our ******. He will take apart our things at will and look at them. What if they are personal items? What can we do?'

Omar came forward at this opportune moment and said, 'Everyone, please don't worry. The problems you are worried about will not happen with Meitong Logistics because we have signed an agreement with other shipping companies. As long as your things arrive with us, we can ship them directly. We don't have warehouses to stockpile goods. And more importantly, our prices are cheaper than Veda's!'

'Really? That's great, I'll choose Meitong Logistics from now on! We'll all choose Meitong!' You can hear people shouting in the crowd.

Omar and the others are very excited, but Botbol is furious. He roars, 'You ungrateful bastards, you're all slandering. I won't let you get away with this!'

'I didn't say that Mr. Botterbom's company, Vinda Logistics, did such a thing, so why are you so angry? Your reaction is more like one of anger and shame!' Omar said to him.

After hearing Omar's words, the others all chimed in, 'Yes, it seems to me that he must be feeling guilty. And look at his fat body, he must have stolen it from us.'

As the saying goes, when the wall falls, everyone pushes it down; when the drum breaks, everyone beats it. Apart from those who agreed, others dug up other things: 'In my opinion, this Bert is a damned bastard. Do you remember how long he was a councilor in the Vidda community? But what has he done for us? Apart from helping his own logistics company, he has done nothing for the community. He has not built a hospital or solved the problem of the lack of toilets. He is just a disgusting bastard!'

The first person shouted out, and the others all denounced him in succession: 'Yes, we, the Vinda community, don't need such a disgusting scumbag liar!'

'You ungrateful things, you all deserve to go to hell!' Bortle roared and pounced on the crowd.

But the angry crowd was no less formidable, and they all angrily cursed Bortle, before rushing forward one after the other to beat Bortle.

Seeing that the situation was getting out of hand, Omar didn't know what to do. He immediately called Zhou Ming. Before he could say anything, Zhou Ming asked, 'Did that idiot, Baotuo, lose his temper and start a fight with the people from the Weida community?'

'Mr. Zhou Ming, you are really amazing, you can guess everything. You have everything under control. So what should we do now?' Omar asked.

'Help him. Although this guy's mouth is a bit nasty, we still need this person. In a way, he is the best as a member of the Vida Community Council,' said Zhou Ming.

'Okay, Mr. Zhou Ming, I understand, I will do a good job,'

Omar said, hung up the phone, took out a loudspeaker and said, 'Please calm down, don't get excited. Hitting people is against the law. I believe no one wants to spend this Christmas in prison, right?'

With Omar's words, everyone stopped suspiciously. Omar took the opportunity to sneak into the crowd, come to Botter's side, and then say to everyone, 'I am very happy to see that everyone can unite together. This is what I hope to see in the Vinda community. But now I still hope that everyone will go back to their own business and do their own thing. I believe that our Vinda community will be even better!'

Omar's words reminded everyone, and immediately someone said, 'That's right, we don't support Baotuo Bo, we support Omar, and we support Meitong Logistics!'

Amidst the shouts of everyone, Omar crouched down and said to Baotuo Bo, 'Did you hear that? This is the power of unity. The united Vinda community is very powerful. At least you will have no foothold in this community.'

At this point, Boateng was already dying, but he still used all his strength to angrily yell at Omar, 'You shameless black man, I won't let you have your way. As long as I'm here, you'll never be a member of the Vinda community. My Vinda Logistics Company is also the best!'

'Maybe that was true in the past, but I'm sorry about the future. Judging from the current momentum, I'm afraid the future is no longer in your hands,' said Omar.
