Chapter 45: The Dignity of Harrodsburg

'Oh damn it! Why are there police here? ...Gentlemen police officers, we are law-abiding good people. This is just a family meeting, and there is no illegal behaviour of any kind. You must see that... Sir, we are all members of the Harburg family. Do you know Harburg? You know, the former Austrian royal family. We are all noble gentlemen, so how could we possibly be involved in drug dealing? Not even God would believe it!

The people in the hall shouted back and forth, and they all huddled on the ground with their heads in their hands. Some were incredulous at the arrival of the police, while others were desperately trying to explain to the police. However, these proud members of the Harburg family were no longer as elegant as before. They looked like prostitute-catchers, each one of them at a loss for words.

The the unexpected police, the only people who can remain calm now are Zhou Ming Kate Lin and Andre on the lectern. However, Andre is better described as furious than calm.

'It It's you, a Huaxia person? You called the police, didn't you? The purpose is to prevent this meeting from being held!' Andre pointed at Zhou Ming and roared.

Zhou Ming laughed. He looked meaningfully at Andre on the podium and said, 'Are you stupid? I already said earlier that I had reported that there was a drug deal here, so of course I called the police. I don't understand why you're still asking? Is there something wrong with your IQ?'

Zhou Ming These words nearly made Andre spit out a mouthful of old blood: 'Of course I knew you called the police, I just didn't expect you to actually get the police here!'

'I don't think there's anything surprising about it. You're allowed to get help, so why shouldn't I do the same?' Zhou Ming shouldered his shoulders and said, 'This is Harburg, and of course ordinary police officers cannot come in, but these police officers are borrowed from the Elysee Palace, so that's a different matter.'

Andre Andre let out a gasp, his eyes wide. 'The Elysee Palace? You actually found the presidential palace?'

Zhou Ming didn't answer this question, but the meaning was obvious. As for why Zhou Ming was able to get help from the presidential palace, the reason is very simple: the future of Mexico is at stake. Backed by absolute interests, the French president does not mind helping Zhou Ming this once.

'No . You're just a Chinese person, how could you convince the presidential palace to do you this favour? Mr President has no reason to help you, so this must not be true, you're lying, aren't you?' Andre questioned Ming.

Facing Andre's doubts, Zhou Ming just wanted to laugh, because the facts were right in front of him. He didn't believe it, and that was not just stupidity, but a kind of collapse of being unable to accept reality. Of course, Zhou Ming not tell him about the deal he made with the French president. After all, the Mexico project was his trump card, and it was the huge hidden benefits of the Mexico project that convinced the French president to help him.

As for Andre Andre, let him guess for himself. Zhou Ming is under no obligation to answer his questions. Let him guess for himself. Maybe he'll get so bogged down in this problem that he'll go crazy.

But obviously Andre was not that weak. He soon gave up his plan to get to the bottom of the matter and said to Zhou Ming, 'But I must say, you did a great job this time, but don't think you've won. You can stop You may have stopped this meeting, but you can't stop every meeting. I have the support of Mr Jefferson, and I will inherit the Harresford family, not you. You can all go to hell!'

Zhou Ming helplessly shook his head: 'I say, Mr. Andre, I think you should worry less about your inheritance and more about how you're going to get out of the police station.'

Andre froze, and at that moment several policemen walked up to the podium and handcuffed André.

'What are you black bastards doing? Do you know who I am? I am André of the Harburg of Harburg, the de facto ruler of Alsace, your master. How dare you be so insolent to your master? Hurry up and untie me, you bastard. Oh shit, you're hurting me, I'll chop off your hand!'

André's mouth struggled, but the two policemen clearly didn't care and carried Andre off the stage. Even the black policeman, who was very unhappy about Andre's racial discrimination, punched Andre in the face, after which Andre became quiet.

This idiot under the same roof, can't he understand the simple truth that he has to bow his head?

Zhou Ming was moved by André's intelligence. These were police officers from Paris, and they didn't care what kind of Harburg aristocrat you were, they were just following orders. If it were Alsatian police officers might have some reservations, but the point is that if they were local police officers, they might not dare to storm Harburg and arrest someone, even if it was the President's order. After all, Harburg is the supreme symbol of Alsace.

In Zhou Ming's sigh, Andre and the other family members were all taken away by the police one by one. At this time, Louise came to Zhou Ming's side and said, 'This is really a terrible way to do it!'

Louise was not taken away. Zhou Ming had deliberately given President Jacquel an explanation. After all, she was his only ally. However, Zhou Ming also understood that even without his words, President Jacquel would still let her off the hook due to her status as a princess.

Louise's tone was a little gritting, and she looked at Zhou Ming with hatred. Obviously, she was very dissatisfied with Zhou Ming's call for the police. She continued, 'You know that Harburg, as a special noble family in Alsace and has been untouched by outsiders for over a thousand years. By bringing the police here today, you have trampled on the dignity of Harburg!'

'Alsace is Harburg territory! We are the kings here, but now you have actually let the police come in and arrested the royal family here. This is the greatest blasphemy against Harburg!' Louise shouted.

'Damn it !' Louise then shouted at Caitlin, 'This Huaxia person doesn't understand. Don't you, the Harburg princess, understand either? Do you still any sense of duty as the heir to the Harburg family? Your father Ferdinand was willing to lose everything for the dignity of Harburg, but now you have thrown away our last dignity. You are truly a disgrace to Harburg!'

In response to Louise Louise's rebuke, Zhou Ming said: 'Your Highness, I think I can understand your feelings, and I understand your pride in being born into the Harburg family, but if it would be unreasonable to say that allowing just a few policemen in would trample on the Harusburg family's dignity.'

Louise immediately widened her eyes: 'What? Do you know what you just said? I want you to apologise to the Harburg coat of arms for those words!'

'Just a few police officers? I really can't understand why you're taking this so lightly.' Louise pointed at the ground, 'For over a thousand years, this has been the Harburg family's private domain, and it has never changed, no matter what wars warfare. But today, a group of things from nowhere have broken in and even captured someone from the family. This is the greatest insult!'

'Your Royal Highness, I'm afraid this is a cultural difference or a difference in understanding. But please believe that I certainly did not intend to offend the Harusburg's dignity,' Zhou Ming explained said Zhou Ming.

'But now you have offended! And not only that, you are even trying to bury the glory of Harburg!' Louise was relentless. 'Oh damn it, why am I even talking to you, you Huaxia person who doesn't understand anything...'

'I don't You're the one who doesn't understand anything, Your Highness!' Zhou Ming interrupted Louise's words loudly.

Louise was stunned. She didn't expect Zhou Ming, who had just been polite and apologetic, to suddenly become so fierce.

In fact to be honest, Zhou Ming didn't really want to explain politely to Louise, but she kept shouting and yelling, making it impossible to communicate. In the end, Zhou couldn't help but use the simplest method to suppress her. Now it seems that this is indeed very effective. Some people just won't listen to anything nice, and only yelling at them will calm them down.

'What did you just say what? You said I don't know anything?' Louise seemed to have heard the funniest joke in the world.

'Isn't that right?' Zhou Ming then asked, 'Your Royal Highness, you are a core member of the Harburg family, so I think you should also understand when Harburg is truly respected, right?'

Zhou Ming did not intend for Louise to answer. He said to Louise, 'When the whole of Europe trembles at the mention of Harburg, that is when the Harburg monarchy was at its peak. Then why is that? It is because it is invincible. It is as simple as that.'

'I don't know what the I don't know about the West, but in our China, even children understand that dignity is something that you never receive as a handout from someone else, but that you have to fight for yourself. If you want dignity but don't have the corresponding strength, it's a joke,' said Zhou Ming. ' like a millionaire who one day goes bankrupt. Do you think his friends will still respect him as they used to? It's obviously impossible, unless one day he can make a comeback.'

'Then the current Harburg is the same,' said Zhou Ming. 'Today's police entry can be said to have crushed the dignity of the past, and we must rise again from this moment for the future dignity of Harburg, otherwise this humiliation will be truly lifelong!

At this point, Zhou Ming intentionally paused for a moment before finally asking, 'What do you think, Your Royal Highness?'

Facing this question from Zhou Ming, Louise suddenly felt a tremendous pressure that she could never have imagined a young man under the age of 30 could bring upon her.

This pressure and Zhou Ming's words, Louise finally had to give in: 'Yes, we should look to the future and let the Harburg family rule the world again!'
