Travel Records of Drunk Daoist(II)

When Wang Lu returned downstairs, he walked slowly to his own room. Inside, a collection of books was gathered. If one looked closely they would realize that each of them was a travel record with most of them being recorded by the 'Drunk Daoist'.

He had read a lot and knew somethings about the outside world from the records. The most important thing was the cultivation path in this world. He had just read about the Grandmaster, and this was a stage in the path of cultivation. To reach this stage, one has to pass through several stage. A Grandmaster was someone with a lifespan of about 800 years old. How could he not have awe for this kind of person, and from the descriptions in the records, a Grandmaster's actions could actually change the weather of a region.

But before reaching the Grandmaster stage, other stages mentioned.

He went ahead and took out a book that had been hidden among the numerous records. If one looked closely, they would not find any difference with the records pulled up on the wall, but there was a difference. The moment he opened it, one could see an ugly but readable handwriting, only it was just summary of Realms he had read about so far.

Putting the book down, he started to admire the realms as well as the information behind them. He was getting used to it, and memorizing, just waiting for the day he also would have the chance to show off.

The exact details on the page where:

Cultivation stages

1.Human soldier - just getting started on the path of martial arts. Focused on entry level of body forging! Those at this level have only reached the 1-3 stages of body Forging techniques.

2.Human commander- Reached the 4-6 stages of body Forging techniques.

3.Human General - Reached the 7-9 stages of body forging techniques.

(After taking the first step into the path of martial arts, the body refinement, it results in an organization of the entire body structure and even spirit scattered around is gathered to form a singular entity shackled in the body. After reaching the human commander level, the spirit inside the body can be used to perceive the blood flow, meridians, internal organs and so on. )

4.Master(300yrs) -Giained insight into artistic conception. (Without artistic conception the body won't transform to reach this stage, and spirit won't break confinement of the body and merge with nature.)

5.Grandmaster (800yrs lifespan)- Artistic conception reaching mid stages.

6.Great Grandmaster (1200 yrs lifespan)- perfection of artistic conception. Perfect spirit.

(Spirit is able to extend beyond the body dye to artistic conception from martial arts practiced. The moment one gains artistic conception, a unique energy from the void is slowly absorbed into the spirit strengthening it. The quantity is dependent on the level of artistic conception. At perfection, the spirit can absorb the energy until it no longer can. At this point, spirit has reached the pinnacle too.)

He only had six realms written as he could only gain as much information. He didn't seem to be In any hurry and any new information he got would be added to the paper. The six could be said to all have something to do with the spirit.

Since that was the case, he was more inclined to focus on them than go ahead seeking more information. He liked to read the records, because from them, he gained some information he considered useful. To others it might seem insignificant, but he didn't think so.

"I can finally say that I have the summary of this worlds first six stages of cultivation. But then again, if looked at properly, it is just two stages. The first being body refinement and this second being artistic conception. With each taking up to nine stages each." He was right! The six stages where just two levels and each with nine stages. He was also right to call it the foundation stage. The first stage was called human, because the exercises and everything else undertaken on the stage couldn't change the fact that it was all still under the category of mortals. Regardless of how strong one become at that stage, and able to fight more with less, it couldn't change the fact that before artistic conception they were merely ants.

It was also something he put in his mind, after all once someone grasped artistic conception they had the qualifications to absorb unique energy from the void and allow their spirit to break the confines of the body. Other than that, the Lifespan of three hundred years was already beyond what mortals could compare with.

If anyone else managed to see the page that Wang Lu had written they would be shocked, considering he was just a child about five years old.

No one would believe he could make such a summary after having read a lot of records from the 'Drunk Daoist'. It was just that he didn't understand what Artistic conception trully was. He was just someone that had spent most of his time reading the records the point of remembering this information. Him writting it down was never because he believed it was the guide into becoming some stronger individual. He did it, purely because he wanted to have something to look forward to. Perhaps it was to remind him all the time that in this world existed a lot of strong individuals.

He closed the book after going through the six stages carefully and making sure he had not forgetten anything. He then pushed the book back in the midle of others. He walked out of the room, looking around, he didn't locate anyone. Just as he was about to rush outside again, he discovered an old woman looking at him with half a smile.

"Young master! Where are you going?" She asked, but clearly she knew the answer.

Looking at how she was eyeing him like an eagle, he was helpless.

"Cough! Cough! Aunt Meng! Look! I have read all the books in the house! How about taking me out the residence for a walk!" He was indeed very interested in the world outside this residence he lived. He didn't have dreams of venturing out to explore, he just wanted to see what it looked like. But since he was born, he has never stepped outside this house.

He was sure that this old woman would go out daily to purchase some goods for the residence, and thus he didn't stop asking everytime.

But what he didn't expect was that she actually looked at him for a while before saying, "Okay! Wait for me here I'll be back with the carriage."

'Huh!'

He looked at her back with some suspicion, "She agreed so easily?"
