The three-tomoe Sharingan spun in Shin's eyes, locking onto Moko's gaze. Her expression froze as her pupils lost focus, and she stood motionless in place.
After casting the genjutsu on Moko, Shin glanced at the five young guards, gesturing at a 45-degree angle with his index and middle fingers pressed together, signaling them to begin their duties.
The five youths nodded slightly before vanishing into shadows, dispersing to positions outside the room.
It was undeniable that Moko's household guards were indeed weak. The strongest among them barely reached the level of a Chūnin, and the five youths easily evaded their detection, stealthily blending into their tasks.
Once the youths had left the room, Shin cast one last glance at Moko, who was still under the genjutsu, before slipping out through the window.
Using Ye Zi as the central figure in the genjutsu, Shin planned to rest at a nearby inn for the night and return the next day to ask Moko for money.
In the genjutsu, the lavishly decorated room shimmered under soft light. Draped in a black cloak, Ye Zi climbed in through the window and stood beside Shin.
"Lord Ye Zi," Shin said, taking a step back and bowing slightly.
Ye Zi nodded at him before turning his calm gaze to Moko.
Moko blinked in surprise at Ye Zi's sudden appearance. After realizing it was him, her first instinct was to clench her hands into fists and throw a punch at his chest.
This punch, laden with pent-up frustration, was effortlessly caught by Ye Zi.
"What are you doing?" Ye Zi asked coldly, holding her fist firmly.
Despite years of not seeing each other, Ye Zi's demeanor was as cold and indifferent as ever, unchanged since the first day they had met.
Moko struggled to free her hand, her eyes filled with anger. "Ye Zi, you're not a man!"
Ye Zi raised an eyebrow but released her hand. "Save your useless complaints. Let's talk business."
"You have the nerve to talk about 'business'?" Moko snapped, her chest rising and falling with indignation as she glared at him with disbelief.
It wasn't just about the small fortune he had extorted from her years ago under questionable pretenses. Even their last deal, where she paid a hefty sum of 100 million ryō for competent guards, had been dragged out for years before the guards finally arrived.
The whole situation gave the impression that Ye Zi had only recently remembered this obligation.
If Ye Zi were a business partner Moko would have gone to any lengths, even losing money if necessary, to ensure he faced utter financial ruin.
Ye Zi remained unfazed by her words. He gestured for Shin and the five youths to leave the room. Understanding his intent, they silently exited.
Once they were gone, Ye Zi looked at Moko and said calmly, "100 million ryō. Make a request."
Moko was so furious she laughed, raising a trembling finger to point at him. For a moment, she was too angry to find the words to respond.
Ye Zi waited patiently, his expression unchanging, as if he had all the time in the world for her to calm down and reply.
After a while, Moko's turbulent emotions subsided. She lowered her arm and glared at Ye Zi coldly. "Your current identity is too sensitive. I don't want anything to do with you. Forget the deal."
Ye Zi remained silent for a moment before a dangerous smile crossed his face. His eyes turned cold and sharp as he said, "If I wanted to, I could turn this place into a river of blood in a single night."
"Hmm?"
Moko's expression shifted slightly. She furrowed her brows but didn't flinch. Her gaze locked onto his, unwavering. "You wouldn't dare."
"What makes you so sure I wouldn't?" Ye Zi took a sudden step forward, raising her chin with his hand so her eyes met his dark, piercing gaze directly.
Moko glared at him, replying dismissively, "A woman's intuition."
Without a word, Ye Zi released her chin and said coldly, "Back to the point. 100 million ryō, name your request."
Moko rubbed her slightly sore chin, letting out a cold snort. "I don't need…" She trailed off, her thoughts drifting back to scenes of her past interactions with Ye Zi.
Suddenly, her expression softened, and a sly smile spread across her face. "Any request?"
Her sudden change in demeanor made Ye Zi wary. He wasn't sure what she was scheming but nodded slightly. "Yes."
"Good." Muzi raised a delicate finger to her lips, her eyes glinting with mischief. Her voice softened to a seductive tone as she said, "Spend one night with me."
"What?" Ye Zi froze for a moment.
Moko took a step forward, leaning into Ye Zi's broad chest. Rising onto her tiptoes, she whispered softly into his ear, "As payment."
This phrase, payment, was one she had teasingly used on Ye Zi years ago, though it hadn't elicited the reaction she had hoped for at the time. Now, she uttered it again, leaving little room for misinterpretation.
A faint fragrance wafted into Ye Zi's nose. He raised an eyebrow, silent.
Noticing his hesitation, Moko smirked mockingly. Resting lightly against his chest, she said, "What's wrong? Is my request too much?"
Before she could say more, Ye Zi suddenly pushed her away. Startled, Moko stumbled backward, her heel catching on the edge of the bed. Letting out a small cry, she tumbled onto the soft mattress.
Before she could react, Ye Zi leapt forward, landing on top of her. Their eyes met, inches apart.
Moko's wide eyes stared up at Ye Zi, her mind momentarily blank from the unexpected turn of events.
"Is it that simple?" Ye Zi asked.
Moko's heartbeat quickened abruptly, and within moments, a blush spread across her cheeks. Yet, she stubbornly challenged him, "Do you dare?"
Ye Zi responded with a devilish smile, his voice calm. "Too simple, don't you think?"
The implication was clear: this request wasn't worth the 100 million ryō.
Without waiting for Moko's response, he lowered his head and sealed her lips with his own. His fingers moved deftly across her body, swiftly removing her top.
"Mmm…" Moko's mind went blank, her heart racing uncontrollably. Wasn't this what she had always wanted? And now, it was happening.
Ye Zi's actions were practiced and confident. While kissing her, he stripped her like an expert, leaving her bare and vulnerable.
Moonlight streamed through the window, illuminating Moko's mature, graceful figure. Her fair skin glowed with a faint blush, dotted with shimmering beads of sweat that reflected the light.
Moko let out soft, delicate whimpers, her cheeks flushed a deep red. Her gaze grew alluring and hazy as she passionately embraced Ye Zi's broad back, as though trying to merge her body with his.
Ye Zi's hands rested on her smooth, white waist. His lips gently brushed over her eyelids, nose, lips, chin, earlobes, neck, and finally settled between the peaks of her chest.
Moko gasped softly, feeling an uncontrollable surge of wild emotions within her, bringing an intoxicating thrill.
She wanted this man. With this thought, she summoned all her strength to try and reverse their positions, but her efforts were in vain.
Ye Zi held her firmly, leaving her powerless to move, and she could only let out a soft, helpless whimper.
....
The next day, Shin obtained 100 million ryō and a handwritten letter from Moko. He left the five young guards behind to serve as her protectors and departed Kyoto, beginning his journey back to the base in the Land of Waterfalls.
A few days later, Shin returned to the base and handed the 100 million ryō and the letter to Ye Zi.
"Lord Ye Zi, this is a handwritten letter from that woman," Shin explained.
"A letter?" Ye Zi raised an eyebrow in surprise. He took the letter, opened it, and skimmed through it. Slowly, his brow furrowed.
After a moment, Ye Zi put the letter down, his expression darkening as he looked at Uchiha Jin. With a frown, he asked, "What kind of genjutsu did you use on her?"
Shin looked genuinely puzzled.
