Uchiha Akira possessed dual chakra affinities for lightning and fire, so the ninjutsu he had learned were limited to these two elements.
Initially, Akira hadn't planned on copying the Chidori technique, as it was so strongly associated with Kakashi Hatake that it would raise questions if he used it. After all, Kakashi was a well-known genius in Konoha, and if Akira suddenly started using the same technique, it would be difficult to explain.
However, with the looming tragedy of the Uchiha massacre, Akira couldn't afford to worry about such things. Moreover, the Chidori paired perfectly with the Sharingan.
So during one of his life simulations, Akira had decided to master the Chidori.
"What… that technique is…!" Seeing the brilliant blue lightning in Uchiha Akira's hand, the Root ninja behind the mask's eyes widened in shock.
The Chidori was a technique anyone with knowledge in Konoha would recognize—it was Kakashi Hatake's signature move. But now, this child had mastered it?
There was no time for the Root ninja to continue being shocked.
The intense crackling sound of the lightning chakra reaching its peak filled the air, and Akira's Sharingan was operating at full power, with the Body Flicker Technique pushing his speed to its limit.
In the dead of night, a flash of blue light streaked through the darkness like a meteor, appearing in an instant.
Faced with Akira's unavoidably swift and deadly thrust, the Root ninja could only channel all his chakra into his defensive jutsu, hoping it would hold against the Chidori.
But the piercing power of the high-speed thrust carried a natural armor-piercing effect.
The Chidori pierced through the Root ninja, his eyes filled with disbelief before he collapsed to the ground.
His mission had been to lure Akira to a predetermined trap location using the girl as bait.
But he never expected to lose his life to a mere seven-year-old.
Is this the power of the Uchiha clan?
That was the final thought that crossed the Root ninja's mind before his consciousness slipped into eternal darkness.
"Phew…"
Akira exhaled slowly, the Chidori's power as an S-rank offensive ninjutsu proving its worth. He then approached the unconscious girl, Keiko, and checked on her.
She was under a genjutsu, which had put her to sleep.
"Release!" Akira formed a seal with his hands and dispelled the genjutsu affecting Keiko.
"Lord Akira, what… what happened to me?" Keiko asked, her face filled with confusion as she awoke from the genjutsu.
"Let's go back first," Akira replied, shaking his head. This wasn't the place to explain everything.
During past life simulations, there were several times when Akira had taken Keiko with him as they fled Konoha. Later, Keiko had evolved her Sharingan to three tomoe and helped protect Akira during his growth.
Now, it was his turn to risk everything to save her.
"Okay!" Keiko glanced at the Root ninja's corpse nearby and realized she had caused trouble for Akira. She nodded, ready to leave.
But before they could depart, several masked figures appeared, blocking their path.
Six masked ninjas, clearly elite members of the Root organization, surrounded them.
At the same time, Danzo Shimura approached, his eyes locked on Akira, filled with killing intent.
When Danzo had previously attacked Shisui, it was Shisui's foresight that had caused his plans to fail. Now, having caught Akira alone, he wouldn't let him escape.
"So, it was you!" Akira wasn't surprised to see Danzo standing before him.
After all, it was the Third Hokage who had summoned him today, making it impossible for the Hokage to make a move against him. If anyone were to attack him, it would naturally be Konoha's shadowy mastermind, Danzo.
As Danzo stared at Akira with murderous intent, Akira returned the gaze with equal ferocity.
Shisui had died because of Danzo.
And Danzo was also one of the main culprits behind the Uchiha clan's impending massacre.
Originally, the idea of killing Danzo seemed impossible—he was always hiding within the Root organization's base, and reaching him would be far from easy.
But now, here Danzo was, standing right in front of him. This was an opportunity!
Moreover, Danzo had no real understanding of Akira's true strength.
This was indeed a chance!
With the Uchiha's inevitable confrontation with Konoha approaching, killing Danzo now would be a significant move.
Thinking of this, Akira felt a surge of excitement.
"Keiko, when you find an opening, retreat!" Akira whispered, knowing that Keiko, with only two tomoe in her Sharingan, would be more of a burden than a help in the battle that was about to unfold.
