Donne stayed two more days at the hospital per the doctor's recommendation. His other subordinates have started recovering as well.

The King waited for him in his private chamber. 


The butler led Donne in and he saw Conrad sitting majestically in front of a hearty breakfast. 


"Come in, let's have breakfast." Conrad invited him. 


"Thank you, your majesty." Donne sat opposite the King. 


Conrad waved at the butler to leave them alone in the room. 


"Drop the pleasantries. So? Let's have breakfast while you recount what happened in those 3 months of battle. I do have the report. But I'd like to hear it from your perspective."
