Saving a Merchant

The three went on a leisurely ride again toward home. The wagon was filled with things tied with rope so it would not scatter inside during travel. The two sat facing each other. Too tired to talk. The three enjoyed the silence and rest while traveling for more than half a day of walking around the town center.

Once they reached the pathway to the village, the roadside is the edge of the mountain on the left side while the right side becomes uneven and leads to a stretch of ravine, a mix of both shallow and deep. They were traveling on the right side this time so Theron was particularly careful.

The sun was about to set and the skies were turning from bright blue to red orange.

"Huh, it might rain tonight or the next few days…" Theron murmured in his heart as he looked up.
