I Wasn't Invited

Everyone went to take a seat and the food was served in big bowl dishes open for everyone to rejoin and be merry.

There was no strict ruling but the people were afraid to eat. They were afraid to move since they hadn't seen the King eat yet. His Majesty noticed this.

He whispered to the bride and groom.

"You should probably ask them to start the celebration. I will speak to the two of you quickly. I must go back before dinner at the Palace."

Theron nodded.

"Everyone, thank you for your blessings today and for attending the affirmation of our love for one another. Thank you for all the efforts to make this beautiful setup. We appreciate it all. Please enjoy the feast!"

Everyone let go of their restraints and ate and chatted at each table.

The King called for Meryn.

Meryn with trembling heart approached the King humbly.

"Wedding officiant, isn't there a section for me to sign as co-officiant? Let me sign now before I leave."
