CHAPTER 38

Mr. Red's Office

As Mr. Red entered his office, he was met with a sight that made his blood boil. Mosquito was sitting in his chair, looking as comfortable as if she owned the place. Her presence was a bold statement, a declaration that she was not afraid of him, despite his threats to end her.

Mr. Red's eyes narrowed, his mind racing with anger and frustration. "You have the guts to enter my office, even knowing that I've been looking everywhere for you to end you," he spat, his voice low and menacing.

Mosquito's response was to laugh, a cold, mirthless sound that sent shivers down Mr. Red's spine. "Hahaha, sorry for laughing," she said, her voice dripping with sarcasm. "It's just funny. I came bearing a special gift."

Mr. Red's eyes locked onto hers, his mind racing with possibilities. What could she possibly have to give him? And what did she mean by "special gift"?
