"No matter what, the Shaman must die." Rick declared seriously, standing in front of the group. Boris didn't care. Jeanne understood the gravity of the mission and had accepted it long ago.
The only problem was Jomei's hesitation, as he looked down in shame. Rickard, knowing how Jomei felt, sighed. "Jomei, if you don't think you can do it, you can wait for us?"
At Rick's words, Boris and Jeanne turned to Jomei. Seeing all eyes on him, Jomei smiled awkwardly. Still, he didn't want to stay behind.
"I may feel bad about seeing someone die, but I don't want to watch you fight alone either. I'm coming with you." Jomei's expression was serious, and Boris, smiling involuntarily, gave him a light pat on the back.
"Good job, Jomei. It would be boring without you." Hearing Boris, Jomei offered a half-smile and nodded in thanks. Meanwhile, Rick made the final preparations. After ensuring everything was in order, he took one last look at his group.
