ZINA
Remembering that her last conversation with Sybril on the topic of enhancing her power to see visions had been far from smooth, Zina intended to avoid the woman when she reached the Temple. But she should have guessed it would only be a fool's sojourn for after all, the Seer the North Heralder sent back was in the elderly woman's custody.
"Did you truly believe you could have avoided me?" Sybril asked in a voice that held no steel as they stood in the Opaque Shrine of the Temple while gazing out the window that overlooked a lake that was frozen over.
Zina had been informed by the Temple Priestess that the Seer she was looking for was waiting for her at the shrine, but in arriving there, the only figure waiting for her was that of Sybril whom she had been proactively avoiding.
Zina shrugged, "I thought I could have at least tried."
