It was either Basil was a true psychopath beyond redemption, or perhaps he lacked the basic sense to process the underlying threat in Fionna's words for all his response was raising his hand to strike her.
Fionna caught the fist that was flying to her, her expression darkening while she narrowed her eyes narrowed at him.
Basil on the other hand seemed slightly taken aback by how the woman before him easily caught his punch as one would do when swatting away a very annoying fly.
"I know I said I like to touch men," Fionna spoke with a voice that might have as well spelt doom, "but I am no voyeurist. I prefer my activities private and without an audience. Only that way will I not hold back from raining down holy destruction on you."
