The collision of realms—an event that had forever altered the course of history. Earth, once the sole domain of humanity, had become intertwined with another world, one ruled by a fearsome species known as the Daemones. These creatures, hailing from a realm far different from Earth, had found their way into human territory, just as humans had discovered a means to enter theirs.
Elijah and his little sister, already tormented and bullied after their parents' deaths, found their lives spiraling into darkness as their parents' enemies targeted them. The torment reached its peak when Elijah was left crippled, seemingly doomed to a life of misery.
But fate had other plans. One day, a tattoo seared itself onto Elijah's hand, igniting a power within him, he embarks on a journey of vengeance, rising from his despair and unraveling the terrifying truth behind his world.

Despite numerous attempts to eradicate the Daemones from Earth, the nests kept reappearing, fueled by the relentless efforts of the Fiends to maintain their presence on Earth.
Humanity's best strategy had been to contain these areas, guarding them with military forces while trying to control the spread. Powerful Bellators could potentially reclaim weaker districts, but doing so would leave higher-ranked districts vulnerable to attack.
The Fiends were always watching, waiting for an opportunity to strike whenever a strong Bellator left their post. The older generation of warriors was stretched thin, relying on the new recruits to hold the line.
The first review is from the author, how lame, but needed. It is difficult to get people to leave a review, comment, or even vote, barely any would reveal their existence, to show that they are reading said novel, and I don't understand why. Any form of interaction with the author would encourage him/her to write with more enthusiasm, which would mean more and longer chapters, and maybe even better writing quality since writing while enjoying the process, is vastly different from writing because you have to or need to. Anyway, enjoy the novel, and show yourselves please, just a small comment on a chapter would improve my mood, so write anything, even a bad comment, this would only mean that you care :)
This feels like Super Gene and My Vampire System combined into a novel, without a system tho, it should have had one, but it is good so far, loving it

So his parents die, Elijah and his sister inherit their wealth, Elijah, being the older one, has full access, end up losing the money and everything, most likely targeted by people that hated his parents, then these people wanted more, so they beat and harassed him, and one of them ended with him getting crippled... He awakens later and gets a special ability named the shadow avatar or something that can merge with him and help him walk, he hunts and kills, and the avatar has another special effect, it can absorb cores and earn double soul energy than normal with a soulshard.. If you like what you read, then start the novel, It is gooooood
