"To annul my engagement with the Crown Prince."
Freya's blue eyes widened, and her mouth fell to the floor as she listened to my words. I was aware that it would shock anyone who had known me previously, but I didn't have any interest in that cheating prince.
If he wanted to be with a commoner with no talent, then he could be my guest.
This Villainess wasn't going to waste time with the likes of him. Instead, I could spend my time training my magic power and learning everything I needed to know before I entered the Royal Academy.
Since I was still in possession of the golden pendant, I knew that Alicia hadn't begun her studies at the Royal Academy then.
Because of the genius talent for magic Alicia possessed, she usually ignored the advice of her teachers in favor of spending time with the Crown Prince.
However, I wasn't going to be like that Alicia.
In order to be a real Villainess, you had to obtain a power and status so enormous that all the masses could do was grovel beneath your feet.
Luckily, I knew It wouldn't be difficult with Alicia's level of talent. I was sure that even with a single year of harsh work, I could surpass every single student at the Academy and possibly even some of the instructors.
That meant the person standing in my way of unlimited training time was... the Crown Prince. This naturally only left one option then.
He had to go.
That cheating prince was going to fall for the female lead anyway, so what did it matter if I broke the engagement off with him earlier than the story intended?
Personally, I also just didn't like him much.
Like how shameless do you have to be to court a woman while you're engaged and then banish the woman you were engaged to?
Setting that matter aside, Freya, who had been watching me with a joyous expression until now, maintained a curious gaze as our eyes stared into each other.
I didn't want to suggest that she thought I was lying, but that was the exact feeling that I was getting from here. In that case, I knew it would be better to make things clear.
I set aside the wooden table tray while rising from the bed and tapped my feet on the cold marble floor.
As I finally was standing beside her, it was very apparent that there was a massive height difference between the two of us.
While Alicia is in the games and in this world is exactly 157 centimeters, Freya standing in shoes only reached my shoulders and barely even that. My best estimate of her height left me guessing about 142 centimeters.
"Freya, I will not entertain that Prince no longer. I sadly have already outgrown that childish dream of being the Queen of this country."
Nothing I said was a lie other than the statement that the dreams belonged to me in the first place. Even though they obviously didn't belong to me, I would still have to play it off like they did. I needed to remember that from now on, no matter what; I was Alicia.
Freya's wide eyes seemed to brighten, and a warm smile curled her lips as she listened. It looked like she was very pleased with my speech, so I wasted no time informing her of what my next command was.
"Prepare everything we need to depart to the main house at noon. We will take a trip to visit my parents."
"If that is your wish, Young Lady."
Freya swiftly bowed before grabbing the tray off of my bed and she turned back to my view just once more to display her patented wide smile before twisting her body back toward the door.
It was finally then did she made her way towards the brown wooden door. After I heard the click as the silver-haired girl dissapeared from my view, I exhaled a deep breath that I didn't even realize I was holding.
Once she was finally out of my sight, I sat back down on the massive bed. In my past world, this bed would have even been bigger than a King-sized bed. It was truly a privilege that I never thought I would be able to appreciate.
Once again, Transmigration is the best!
I didn't want to become too fixated on how soft my bed was because I knew that being summoned to my parents' chambers would be anything but pleasant.
I just needed to be prepared for anything they might throw at me.
That meant the most important thing I needed to do became obvious. First, I needed to figure out who their names were, and I had zero interest in asking Freya.
I was only willing to consider that as somewhat of a last resort.
Instead, I searched around the vast bedroom for any semblance of a journal. No matter how hard I looked though, all of my efforts felt fruitless, as I continued to come up with nothing during my long search.
After what felt like a solid twenty minutes of digging around my room, I was unable to find a journal, which meant my worst fear was likely true and because she was a side character, she never had one.
Even though that was unfortunate, I wasn't ready to give up and I racked my brain for every bit of knowledge about the game that I could remember. One phrase felt burned into my brain.
"Status."
As soon as I spoke, a jet-black screen with white text appeared in front of me, which forced my attention to the white text.
It was upon reading it that I became aware of the amount of talent that Alicia truly possessed.
