Chapter 40: New Mission—Fujikaze Yukie

---

Sasuke struggled to break free from the comforting embrace and then asked Tsunade, "You're from Konoha, aren't you?"

Before he could finish, Tsunade quickly covered his mouth and whispered, "Shh! Don't say it out loud!"

With the chips in her hand, Tsunade dashed off. Her plan was to redeem Shizune first and then use the remaining money to gamble again.

"If I can win once, I can win again!" she thought confidently, her gambler's spirit ignited.

Sasuke wandered out of the casino and aimlessly walked the streets. Suddenly, a voice called out to him from a rooftop.

"Hey, Sasuke! Why aren't you at the hot springs?" It was Kakashi.

Sasuke looked up to see his sensei, dressed in a bathrobe, squatting on the roof with a mischievous grin.

"It's just a bit boring," Sasuke replied.

Kakashi jumped down and approached Sasuke. "By the way, your chakra also includes the lightning element, right?"

Sasuke nodded, intrigued by where this conversation was heading.

Kakashi decided to teach Sasuke the Chidori. He led Sasuke to an open area, where he gathered lightning in his palm, creating a sharp, piercing sound.

"This is Chidori, an S-rank jutsu I developed," Kakashi explained. "It combines the form and nature of chakra. Because of the chirping sound it makes, it's called Chidori. But since it requires high-speed movement to pierce through the opponent, it works best when paired with the Sharingan. You're the perfect candidate."

Sasuke watched closely as Kakashi demonstrated the Chidori multiple times.

To Kakashi's astonishment, Sasuke learned it almost instantly. When Sasuke activated the Lightning Release to enhance his cells and then performed Chidori, his speed far surpassed Kakashi's.

Kakashi couldn't believe his eyes. Not only had Sasuke mastered Chidori in a matter of moments, but he also executed it with a speed that was several times faster than the technique's creator.

As Sasuke paused, he noticed something about the Chidori's sound that bothered him. The noise from the concentrated lightning felt uncomfortable. He experimented, speeding up the electrical current of the Chidori, which resulted in an even more intense chirping sound.

The noise was so overwhelming that Kakashi had to cover his ears. "Sasuke, what are you doing?!"

Sasuke dispersed the Chidori and turned to Kakashi. "Sensei, I tried to use the noise generated by the Chidori to harm others. Although the sound travels slower than the Chidori itself, it can cause widespread damage."

With this realization, Sasuke had created a new jutsu: ''Chidori Nagashi''. The intense noise could cause temporary deafness and, over time, might even rupture eardrums.

Just then, Kakashi tilted his head as he received a message through the Mind Transmission Technique.

Nara Shikaku's voice echoed in his mind. "Kakashi, there's an A-rank mission available. Would Team 7 like to take it?"

Kakashi responded, "An A-rank mission? Our team has completed S-rank missions before, but we're on vacation."

Shikaku continued, "But this one involves the Land of Snow. I thought you might be interested..."

"The Land of Snow?" Kakashi's interest piqued. "What's the mission?"

"Escort the famous actress Fujikaze Yukie to the Land of Snow for a film shoot."

Two days later, in Konoha…

In the Konoha Grand Theater, Sasuke yawned as the movie, 'Princess Gale', played on the screen. He found it a bit boring, though the actress Fujikaze Yukie was undeniably beautiful.

She was only 18, yet already the most famous star in the entire ninja world.

As the movie played, Sasuke couldn't help but feel indifferent, while Naruto was moved to tears by the line, "No matter what dangers you face, never give up."

Seeing Naruto wipe his tears, Sasuke decided to leave the theater before things got too emotional. Hinata, noticing Sasuke's departure, followed him outside.

"Sasuke-kun, didn't you like the movie? Fujikaze Yukie is the most famous star in the entire ninja world," Hinata asked softly.

Sasuke sighed, "If it weren't for this mission, we'd still be enjoying our vacation in the Land of Hot Springs. I didn't even get to enjoy a hot spring bath with you yet."

He glanced at Hinata, who immediately turned red, nervously hugging herself. "S-Sasuke-kun, d-don't tease me like that!"

Sasuke chuckled and shook his head, but their conversation was abruptly interrupted by a loud commotion.

A girl with dark blue hair, riding a white horse, suddenly leaped over the theater and bolted down the street.

"To hell with the Land of Snow! I'm not going!" she shouted.

Several brown horses pursued her. "Miss Yukie, we have to finish the movie's final scene in the Land of Snow!"

"I don't care! They can just find a new actress!"

"But you're Fujikaze Yukie!"

Sasuke watched as the famous actress rode past him, more beautiful in person than she was on the screen. Activating his Lightning Release, Sasuke sped after her, easily outpacing the white horse.

Perched on the roof, he watched Yukie flee. When she reached a safe distance, Sasuke unleashed his new technique.

"Chidori Nagashi!"

The piercing noise instantly disoriented Yukie's pursuers, causing them to fall off their horses, clutching their ears in pain. With them incapacitated, Sasuke continued his pursuit of Yukie.

Down by the Nanga River, Yukie dismounted her horse, letting it drink from the river. Sasuke approached her calmly.

"Miss Yukie, may I have your autograph?" he asked, his voice gentle but firm.

Without even looking at him, Yukie huffed in annoyance and mounted her horse, ready to leave.

However, the white horse, sensing Sasuke's presence, trembled in fear, its legs growing weak. Yukie finally looked at Sasuke, noticing his Konoha forehead protector.

"You Konoha ninjas... always so annoying," she muttered.

Sasuke smiled. "I'm not here to annoy you. You're just part of my mission."

Yukie blinked in confusion. "Mission? What mission?"

Electricity crackled around Sasuke's body, though this time there was no sound. The current surged into Yukie, causing her heart to race, her face to flush, and her entire body to go limp. She nearly slipped off the horse.

In one swift motion, Sasuke mounted the horse behind her, giving it a gentle nudge. The white horse dashed off.

Yukie, still dazed, collapsed into Sasuke's arms, her heartbeat quickening with every passing second.
