Sitting in the chess viewing room, Fujiwara stared at the scene before him with great excitement. "This is amazing—so amazing! I get to witness such a fierce match again. Even though I couldn't grasp the key move earlier, it's still a fantastic game."
Alexander glanced at Fujiwara, amused by his enthusiasm. "You seem happy, but have you watched 'Go Soul'? You already know how it ends, don't you? What do you think about it?"
Fujiwara fell silent, lost in thought. The legendary Hand of God was ultimately discovered, but the player vanished from the world in the end. While the conclusion wasn't a happy one, it was still a profound moment for any chess lover.
After a pause, Fujiwara asked, "Alexander, what exactly is the Hand of God?"
"Me? How would I know? You're asking the wrong person—I don't even play Go," Alexander replied, shrugging.
"But you're the one who created 'Go Soul'! If even you don't know, who in this world possibly could?" Fujiwara looked at Alexander with unwavering confidence.
Alexander scratched his head. "I can't say what the 'real' Hand of God is, but I do know someone once defeated Alpha Dog with a subtle move—one that exploited a tiny bug in its programming. That move was later called the Hand of God.
"However, since then, Alpha Dog has undergone countless upgrades. Now? Even if you replicate the exact same game, it's impossible to beat it."
Fujiwara furrowed his brow, pondering Alexander's words. "So, someone has beaten Alpha Dog before… If they could do it, maybe I can too. Are you saying that if I defeat Alpha Dog, I might discover the Hand of God myself?"
"Possibly," Alexander said with a smile. "If anyone could do it, it would be you. After all, you nearly defeated Alpha Dog when you first woke up. Once you get accustomed to this era's modern chess strategies and techniques, I'm sure you'll have a shot at winning."
Alexander's confidence in Fujiwara was clear. After all, Fujiwara was a character from an anime. Anime characters, though seemingly human, had a peculiar knack for achieving miracles.
As the two chatted cheerfully, Fujiwara silently made up his mind: his new goal was to defeat Alpha Dog and uncover the Hand of God.

Meanwhile, the battle between Schwi and Alpha Dog had already begun.
What shocked everyone was how Schwi played. She didn't seem to need any time to think before making her moves. While Alpha Dog spent several minutes deliberating each move, Schwi placed her pieces almost instantly. Her actions seemed so random and effortless—like a casual game with no stakes.
The onlookers were stunned.
"What is Schwi doing? Is she just messing around? You can't play Go like this!"
"Exactly! Even in blitz Go, nobody plays that fast. Doesn't she think at all?"
"Playing blitz against Alpha Dog? This is hopeless—it's over for her."
The professional players watching the match were openly skeptical of Schwi's ability. Most of them didn't know who she was or that she hailed from an anime world. To them, she was just a young girl who didn't belong in such a high-stakes match.
But while most of the crowd doubted her, Fujiwara's eyes sparkled with admiration.
"This game is so elegant," he murmured, mesmerized. "How could she make a move like that here? Was it intentional? And why does it work so beautifully? Incredible—truly incredible!"
Unlike the others, Fujiwara was completely immersed in the match. He could instantly recognize the subtle genius behind Schwi's unconventional moves.
As the game unfolded, the situation on the board grew more and more intense.
"A three-three point? I didn't know this type of move had such potential!"
"Look at that corner—the little girl just played there, and now the board has become so chaotic! It's impossible to predict what will happen next!"
"I give up. This game is beyond me! There are just too many possibilities. Forget it—I can't keep up."
Amid the hushed chatter and rising tension, Alexander, who didn't understand Go at all, decided to turn to the expert at his side.
"Fujiwara, what's going on? Is the board really as chaotic as everyone's saying?"
