Shuang Qiao came to the Hongyun Brigade, not for the barbecue. They had serious matters to discuss with Luo Yang.
After a round of barbecue, Luo Yang took Shuang Qiao for a walk on the rural path. They reached a small earthen mound and sat down on the grassy slope, each holding a can of beer.
"My sister and I didn't used to drink, but since we started the company, we had to learn," Qiao Yousi said.
The cheeks of Shuang Qiao were flushed with a tipsy blush, looking enchanting.
"At school, we thought we could do anything. Only after coming out did we realize what it means that every trade produces its master. Everyone has their own strengths, and no one can excel at everything," Qiao Yousi sighed.
Though the sisters were exceptionally good at studying, business was not their forte.
The rice seedlings in the paddy field had grown robust, with the breeze creating continuous green waves stretching into the distance.
