Unconscious Jarvis

Chapter 17

Unconscious Jarvis

Sylvia looked around the surrounding, searching for signs of struggles or a fight, but unfortunately, there were no signs of a fight or struggle apart from the skirmishes she and Jarvis made during their spar.

Marco quickly ran forward to look "Sylvia is that truly the Young Master?" Seeing the dishevelled appearance of the familiar face on Sylvia's lap and his painful expression, Marco heart sank.

It was Jarvis.

He had sworn to protect Jarvis and his mother after being abandoned by Vincent Moretti, but so far, he has done absolutely nothing,

Whether it was when Jarvis was attacked by the Lycon gang or when 'Brook' a Lycon spy was almost recruited and tried to cause conflict, he had done absolutely nothing.

"Sylvia, is he breathing?" Marco voice was shaking, a resolute glint in his eyes as a mixture of complex emotions welled up in him.

If Jarvis actually died, Marco would not even hesitate to match into the Lycon Gang to take revenge even at the expense of his life.

"I've checked his pulse and have done an emergency check-up. He's alive but unconscious." Sylvia said as she caressed Jarvis face with her right hand.

"Do you know the cause?" Marco expression relaxed a bit, knowing Jarvis wasn't dead was a huge relief on Marco's conscience

"No, from the check-up, his body is perfectly fine even showing signs of extreme vitality. His organs also show no sign of faults and no sign of internal bleeding either. His outer body has no bruises, injuries, or cuts,"

"But his body still needs utmost care, especially now that he's currently unconscious." Sylvia said with some concern in her eyes. "It'll be best if he could be given somewhere to rest and recover."

Marco caught on to her message, "Yomi, prepare the bed in the Young Master's room. He will be staying there in the meantime,"

Tossing a set of silver keys from his pocket, these were the exact same keys meant for each room in the house. Looking closely at the key, there are labels on which exact room each key opens.

"Tsk! Marco, can't you hire a maid or a house help for this? " Yomi thought silently but didn't dare voice it out as he was apprehensive of what the agitated Marco might do to him. He caught the key and headed inside

Marco turned back to Sylvia. "Sylvia, let me carry him," Without giving Sylvia a chance to respond, he lifted Jarvis off the ground with a princess carry, heading inside.

Yomi rushed upstairs and unlocked the key to the Young Master's assigned room. The sight of the room made Yomi lament

Yomi's eyes swept the entire room that was considerable to a hotel suite, though the room was big Yomi didn't waste a single second, because he couldn't afford to, he's fear for Marco propelled him to finish preparing the room in minutes

"Marco am done," Yomi called out to Marco, his voice bearing some relief. He did not need to fear a beating from Marco anymore.

As soon as Yomi notified Marco, Marco quickly rushed upstairs and laid Jarvis on the bed.

He stared at the unconscious Jarvis. His current expression was bitter. It was clear he was upset with the current development.

"Sylvia, did anything abnormal happen while you sparred with Jarvis? Did you perhaps hit him too hard?" Marco's eyes swept at Sylvia behind him.

"During a spar, an exchange of blows are inevitable," Sylvia's current attitude was the exact opposite of her attitude with Jarvis.

"So you hit him," Marco turned and faced Sylvia, a cold expression formed on his face.

The lesson he learnt from Brook stopped him from trusting any member of the gang apart from Jarvis and his mother.

"Yes." Sylvia did not even bother with Marco's attitude. She calmly sat at he side of Jarvis bed and stretched out her hand, wanting to caress Jarvis face once more.

Before Sylvia's fingers could touch Jarvis face, a bigger hand grabbed Sylvia's arm. "Don't touch him," Marco's eyes were cold.

Sylvia merely stared at Marco's hand and then looked straight into his eyes and scoffed. "Use your head," Sylvia said as she flicked her hand,

Marco felt a huge amount of force from Sylvia's seemingly slender, fragile arm, he's arm swung involuntarily as he took a few steps back

"After our spar, I did hit Jarvis, and I hit him on his arm. Plus, it was a heavy blow that should leave a lot of bruises if not a fractured arm,"

"But when I saw Jarvis outside, laying on the field, there was no sign of that blow on his arm."

"That doesn't change the fact you hit him." Marco interrupted Sylvia his eyes were still carrying the same coldness as before.

"I noticed his physique was almost two times that of an ordinary man since I laid eyes on him. That was why I believed he could defeat those two men and never got concerned when he challenged brook," with a slight pause she continued.

"Jarvis strength was uncontrollable during our spar, so I thought him an eastern method to better adapt to his strength."

"I deflected his blows whilst trying to rectify his techniques, I knew it didn't take a day to learn those techniques,"

"So I was prepared to rectify his techniques even if it took years, but to my greatest surprise...." at this point, a sweet embarrassed smile formed on Sylvia's face as she stared at the unconscious Jarvis

"He rapidly grasped the techniques that should have taken ordinary athletes months or years to get started in less than a day,"

Marco listened to each word Sylvia said, one by one, on the outside he was calm and collected but in the inside he was extremely shocked.

He never knew Jarvis was so peculiar, nor did he ever think about why Jarvis was able to defeat three Lycon Gang members,

it was only after seeing what Jarvis did with Brook that he believed Jarvis was a skilled fighter with some experience to booth afterall he was a Moretti.

But now that Marco was hearing everything Sylvia was saying he could not help but be disappointed with himself.

In less than a day, Sylvia has noticed so many peculiarities about Jarvis, yet he did not even know a single one.

Sylvia smiled at Marco. He's calm and collected facade failed to fool her.

"In my opinion, Jarvis is hiding something that he doesn't want to tell us. Normally, i won't interfere, but it's probably that same thing that put Jarvis in this state."

"Instead of the internal strife you were about to cause, it would be better for us to find out what Jarvis is hiding from us,"

"And for the best possible headstart for clues will be the three Lycon Gang members that attacked Jarvis while you were gone."

"Oh, and while you're at it, try to find out as much information on the lycon gang as you can."

Marco looked deeply at Sylvia, he's face showed an emotionless expression. Deep down, he was thankful. He knew that this was a chance to prove he was useful to Jarvis,

"Alright, I'll be able to get all the information out of them," Marco's deep voice was became a bit lighter "I'll also be hiring maids to look out for Jarvis so you don't need to monitor him all the time,"

With that, Marco left the room with a poker face. Sylvia watched as his figure receded, "he must truly love you, huh."

She looked at the unconscious Jarvis
