A Life-Changing Announcement

Min Ho's phone rang twice before he answered on the third ring. His friends, Tae Sung and Joon Oh, were on the line, eager to meet up soon. "Hey, Min Ho! We need to talk about something important," Tae Sung said, his voice laced with urgency.

As Min Ho got dressed, the maid entered his room, bowing slightly. "Master Min Ho, your grandfather requests your presence in the living room." Her voice was soft and respectful.

Min Ho agreed to meet his friends later and headed to the living room, curiosity building up with each step. Upon entering the room, he saw his grandfather, Jae Ho, seated on the couch, looking serious. Their family advocate, Mr. Lee, sat to his left, arranging documents in a hurry. Min Ho's father's new family, Yoon Ah and Ji Hye, sat opposite him, their faces filled with curiosity and impatience.

"Please, Master Min Ho, take a seat," the maid said, gesturing to the empty chair opposite his grandfather.

Min Ho took a seat, noticing the tension in the air. His father, Jung Ho, arrived, introducing his new family to Mr. Lee and engaging in small talk. However, Grandfather Jae Ho cleared his throat, signaling the start of a significant announcement.

"Today is an important day for our family," he began, his voice firm. "I must confess my disappointment in your choices, Son." He glanced at Jung Ho. "Your new family and lifestyle have not met my expectations."

The room fell silent, with Jung Ho and his new family exchanging nervous glances. Min Ho's mind raced with thoughts, wondering what his grandfather's plan was.

Grandfather Jae Ho continued, "I have decided to transfer ownership of the company and our wealth to my descendant." He paused, his eyes locked on Min Ho. "And that person is Min Ho."

The room erupted into chaos, with Jung Ho standing up, shouting, "This is unfair! He's not eligible for handling such responsibilities!"

Grandfather Jae Ho remained calm, explaining that he would oversee the company and wealth until Min Ho graduated. Afterward, Min Ho would become the new CEO.

Min Ho's father seethed with anger, but Grandfather Jae Ho added another ,a mansion registered in his father's name, complete with a substantial cash prize. With no choice, Jung Ho accepted the offer.

As Mr. Lee left, Min Ho remained silent, unsure how to process the sudden turn of events. His grandfather advised him to stay focused and prepare to take on the company's responsibilities in four years.

After the meeting, Min Ho returned to his room, his mind reeling. He called his friends, and they agreed to meet at the same coffee shop. His friends hinted at a crucial discussion related to his family and the secrets surrounding his father's new family.

Min Ho arrived at the coffee shop, eager to uncover the truth. His friends revealed their findings, connecting the dots between Yoon Ah's past and the rival business family.

Min Ho realized that his family was entangled in a web of secrets and lies, and he was now at the center of it all. With this newfound understanding, Min Ho steeled himself for the challenges ahead, determined to protect his family's legacy and uncover the truth about his father's new family.

As Min Ho listened to his friends' revelations, his mind raced with questions and doubts. He couldn't believe that his father's new family was connected to their business rivals. He felt a surge of determination to uncover the truth and protect his family's legacy.

"Let's dig deeper," Min Ho said, his eyes locked on his friends. "We need to know more about Yoon Ah's past and her connection to the rival family."

Tae Sung and Joon Oh nodded in agreement, and the three friends began brainstorming a plan to investigate further.

Meanwhile, back at the mansion, Jung Ho seethed with anger and resentment. He couldn't believe that his father had transferred ownership of the company to Min Ho, his own son. He felt betrayed and humiliated.

Yoon Ah tried to calm him down, but Jung Ho was beyond consolation. He began to plot his next move, determined to take back what he felt was rightfully his.

As the sun set over the mansion, Min Ho, Tae Sung, and Joon Oh sat in the coffee shop, pouring over documents and making phone calls. They were determined to uncover the truth, no matter what it took.

Meanwhile, back at the mansion,

Jung Ho's mind was a maelstrom of turmoil as he sat in the reading room, his eyes closed, and his thoughts consumed by the morning's events. Memories of his mother's tragic death and his family's downfall flooded his mind like a relentless tide. He recalled the desperation in his father's eyes as he sold most of their wealth to settle debts, the pain and anger simmering, fueling his desire for revenge.

Yoon Ah's sudden entrance broke the spell, shattering the fragile calm. "Why are you sitting here?" she asked, her voice laced with a hidden agenda, like a velvet-wrapped dagger. Jung Ho opened his eyes, his gaze piercing, like a winter's night. "Nothing," he replied curtly, his voice a mask for the tempest within. Yoon Ah's eyes sparkled with a knowing glint, like a conspirator sharing a secret. "What's your plan? Seeking revenge against your father?" The air was heavy with tension, like a stormy sky, as Jung Ho's eyes flashed with anger, but he remained silent, a fortress of restraint.

Yoon Ah's face fell, like a dropped mask, and she quickly changed the subject, leaving the room with a hasty excuse, a fleeting shadow. Jung Ho's eyes followed her departure, his mind racing, like a runaway horse. He rose from his chair, searching the bookshelf for a worn black diary, a tangible connection to his past. As he opened it, his fingers stopped at page 89, a pause in time. A faded photo slipped out, and his eyes locked onto the image, a window to his soul.

Meanwhile, Min Ho, Tae Sung, and Joon Oh walked down the street, laptop in hand, containing evidence of Yoon Ah's deceit, a digital trail of breadcrumbs. Their conversation was interrupted by the sound of screeching tires, a discordant note in the night's symphony. A bike swerved, and a figure snatched the laptop from Min Ho's grasp, a swift and silent thief. The trio gave chase.

The chase ended abruptly when a car struck the bike, sending the riders crashing into a security fence, a metal and concrete embrace. Min Ho leapt from his car, rushing to the scene, a Good Samaritan. That's when he saw her – a mysterious woman in a costly outfit, emerging from the driver's seat, a phoenix from the ashes. Her gaze met Min Ho's, and she strode toward him, her hand resting on the car's roof, a gesture of ownership. As she bent down to meet his eyes, Min Ho's heart skipped a beat, a rhythmic pause.

The woman's eyes seemed to bore into Min Ho's soul, like a gentle breeze on a summer's day, yet with an undercurrent of steel. Her lips curled into a hint of a smile, a whispered secret. "You're getting close to the truth, Min Ho. But be careful, there are those who will stop at nothing to keep it hidden." With that, she turned and disappeared into the night, a ghostly apparition, leaving Min Ho with more questions than answers, a labyrinth to navigate.
