Love is 50/50 some are sweet and some bitter. Some are long and some are shorter,some are just here and there some are crazy and some are miserable , some are misunderstood and some are uncomfortable. It means don't put your whole mind and soul into it, it should be 50/50 trust me .
Now this is where sweet baby comes into Kofigee story. Why I first met kofigee, his spirit stood out to me. I have always been fascinated by the strength some people show despite their hardships and Kofigee journey was one that stuck with me. I decided to abserve him , learn from his struggles, and capture his story because, in many ways his life mirrored mine, His resilience, his ability to find family in the most unexpected place, and his search for belongings echoed feeling that , I too had experienced.
It was sweet baby who first gave me the name Kofigee. She told me I reminded her of someone from her childhood. a boy who was always full of laughter and joy. Just like me.
Sweet baby wasn't just a friend; she became like an older sister to me, she was the one who introduced me to the group. Saying, This boy is special, and he needs a family from that on I became part of their world. And I was never a lone again.
Sweet baby always make sure I felt welcome, and through her I found a family that loves me. telling me am special was something.
The only thing between me and sweet baby was she was one month older than me. I smell trouble. Just wait and see.
1 CHAPTER 1: KOFIGEE THE ORPHAN
My name is Kofigee I don't really know my real name. I don't even know my real biological parents I was raised by an old lady and she told me how she found me in the dust bins as a 2weeks old baby. she is the only person I know as my mom and dad.

This people thought me what was life because I called them my second family. I was in primary school when I meet this people and from that day on they called me Kofigee because I was funny. One hot afternoon I was in the school compound playing with my friends then I saw my second family coming to look for me , at first I was happy when I saw them but as I looked forward I saw the three ladies crying I was confused. Then Oga Oluwole and English man told me that my old lady is no more. I was not getting the English language properly so I started laughing telling small pepper that the English is sweet. Haja Fati told me in my own language that I could understand , your mama and daddy Don die Don finish patapata. Then I started crying and holding my head I Don finished ooooo who go help me finish my school oooooh who go give me food ooooo who go give me place to sleep ooooooh I was confused and depressed but this family of mine cool me down and told me not to worry about any thing that I should take everything easy because bra Kwame the Lawyer promised to take good care of me. After the funerals of my late mother which was the old lady.
The whole family took me to Babatunde, so I could become a mechanic like him and I was very happy. but I was to stay with him forever in that compound where he had all types of old and new cars, in my heart I was the luckiest boy on earth to have this type of opportunity so I told them I will stay and they where all happy. But not knowing all this people where in the same area the only person that was not in the market place was Bra Kwame the Lawyer because his office was in the city ? Not knowing I was going to meet them every day of my life bra Kwame only came to visit me on weekends the fun was great small pepper always talk big big English sometimes make us laugh , small pepper was a man of love the girls in the community loved him very much . But my boss Babatunde was more of a womanized and responsible than small pepper,
One morning as I was about to clean the compound there was this beautiful lady that came in to search for my boss Mr Babatunde she greeted me good morning my brother pls I am look for your boss man , I laugh at her because I know her English was bad than mine then asked her in my language you dea look for my Oga abi. then she said yes So I ask her to seat down and wait for some minute just as she was about to seat down my boss Babatunde just arrived and started shouting my love you are welcome I missed you so much wow I thought you were in school . From the woman's mouth I have come to spend some sweet time with you because am on holidays.
I could not understand what was going on until my boss called me to inform me that this is his wife to be. I welcome her and she was a nice woman, because she knows how to cook. But their was a very big problem, Babatunde's Ex lover believe she was pregnant by the headmaster son. The boy had left the country without informing her, leaving her in a difficult situation. Unsure of what to do , she confided in her friends. After explaining everything, they advised to approach Babatunde, suggesting she spend the holidays with him and give him the impression that the child was his .
Babatunde, an innocent man, had no idea of her intentions, but Kofigee his loyal watchman was always by his side keeping eyes on things. Noticed the strange behavior of the ex lover.
Though he respected Babatunde deeply, kofi couldn't shake the feelings that something wasn't right. He kept a close eye on her and the situation around her , but watchman from the sideline was Kofigee, Babatundes loyal watchman, who had seen enough to understand that something was off. Kofigee had been painful past himself, he had been deceived before just like his , He couldn't bear to see his master , Babatunde go through the same pain he went through because of his pass memories cut him deep
2 CHAPTER 2: SHE PRETENDS
This beautiful lady was love by everyone in the community because we all know that she was going to get married to my boss after she finished the university , Because it was a promise they made to their self' my boss Babatunde was loved by the people in the area because he was kind and loving to everyone in the community.
One morning Mr Oluwole came with a very bitter face and he was crying. Then I ask my self how can a big man like Mr Oluwole be crying like this . A powerful businessman crying what is this? Then he started narrating his story that he had met his long forgotten childhood girlfriend which he met some years back and they started their relationship at fresh, Mr Oluwole said when they started everything was all right all the ten years was his best experience with his girlfriend . According to Mr Oluwole he built a house for the girlfriend family and even opened a supermarket for the mother inlaw and even send the other children to school which was something he loved doing . He said he even bought a car for his girlfriend which was a Toyota venza while he was using a Mercedes G wagon. Way back in Nigeria he had already built his houses and rented It to bigger companies so that made him more richer. One thing he did was to keep all his documents in the Bank nothing was in his house because his late grandmother had advised him to keep everything he had because some Ladies are very bad now a days.some will love to steal and kill you for your property, make sure you send all the documents to the Bank for safety . My grandma told me the reason why she kept all her documents in the bank for safekeeping, because her father's children were more than 35 but all of them had different mothers. Their father was a trader by then , and she was in school and loved by the father which was my grandfather.
My late grandmother was the one keeping the record and property documents for the father in those days. So because of conflict in the family she had to keep everything in the bank , she told me try and keep your documents that was her last word before she died, so I did what she ask of me to do . It's like she knows what was going to happen one day . Guys I did everything for my childhood girlfriend but she was never satisfied in what I was doing for her . I noticed her behavior and tried to study her sometimes we made love and some times she refused, because she is tried and was not in the mood . I asked her why are you not in the mood tell me what was your excuses.
she gave me unbelievable answers I was driving all day . All day to where answer my question you drove your car from the house to the university and back and you are tried , what about me I was very hungry at her because that was the only thing that makes me happy in the house and she wants to take my happiness from me I walk out of the house and came back the following day. When I came back to the house I called the gatemen and gave him some money and ask him to take one day off and enjoy with his family which he did . The reason I send the gateman away for one day is because he was very loyal to my girlfriend he talks to much I never trusted him?
As for the watchman he is my best friend he sometimes advice me because he was like my late father, I call him paa mono . He knows something was wrong but the only advice he gave me was to get a cctv camera in the entire house in and out of the compound. Which I did it that very same day I waited for my girlfriend to live for school before calling the cctv company to come fix the cameras after waiting for 5 hours everything was completed. It was only me and paa mono who knows what was going on.
My mobile phone was even connected to the cameras even if I was outside the country I will still see what was going on in my house, after all that happened with my girlfriend I stopped sleeping with her in the same room . And she was really happy with it. I laugh after all I have done for you this is how you want to pay me back so I kept quiet and I was just talking to my self. While I was in the house with paa mono I got a call from one big company I was chasing for years they called to inform me that they have decided to give me the contract . I was to wire an entire 6 storeybuilding with original cables that was my profession in the business world I know this girlfriend of mine do not treat paa mono with respect and I was to travel the following day I waited for the gateman to come back including my wife to be and gave them one last warning concerning the way they treated paa mono I was out of range in anger all because my lady was not giving me the food I wanted . Before leaving I gave paa mono 500,000 naira for his up keep the gateman 200,000 and my wife to be 1,000,000 and left for Ghana ?
Fear some woman they are dangerous like an anoconda could you believe my woman was having affair with my gateman wow what a world I was shocked.
All this while I keept quite and was still looking at the whole show from Ghana. My girlfriend try talking nonsense to paa mono in the evening I will call and warned her about papa mono . She thought I was joking, every weekend they had party in my house,?lavishing my hard earned money with her so called friends , I watch all the videos for completely 6good months this my then girlfriend will change .
What paind me the most was she was telling of her friends how she was just using me all because of my money, and the friend was very annoyed with her by telling her opportunity come by chance.
As I listen to MR Oluwole, recount the story of his relationship with his childhood girlfriend, I couldn't help but think about the complexity of trust and betrayal in relationships.

Like Mr. Oluwole, I learned the hard way that not everyone who slimes at you has good intentions. In moment like these, you realize that love is never straightforward.

3 CHAPTER 3: THE BAD CHARACTER
She ignored her friend advice and even told her not to get worried because she has put me Oluwole in a tight corner. Paa mono was right all along, I asked my self what have I done to deserve this kind of treatment. Was it a crime to love someone else from nowhere to somewhere. I still build up the courage to look at more videos. Haja Fati started crying oooh wahala what a world we live in . It was bra Kwame who save me or by now I will not have known you guys .
Because of this love I would have been mad roaming in the street of Ghana. Thanks to bra Kwame, who had just finished school of law and was looking for a job , by that time I was already madam Fati , the richest and powerful woman in the country at that time I had no idea about getting a lawyer I thought all was well and nothing matters.?
I was happily married to one handsome man called Mr Benson. Not knowing he was the real devil, I trusted him with my whole heart and soul we even joined account in all the business I was doing. I set up a multi million dollar company for him out of love , madam Fati started talking to her self why should I even talk ? 4 CHAPTER 4 : BETRAYER
Guys I was busy making money for my self and my family not knowing my husband was busy making babies every where with different ladies. I noticed something was wrong his character has changed by not giving me the attention I needed from him all because I was busy making money for the family.
I decided to take one special vacation with him to the Netherlands it was beautiful when we got there but his body and soul was in somewhere else I ask him what was the problem. He told me there was nothing to worry about that everything was okay and he was working on a bigger project so I shouldn't get worried at all I nodded my head ok if that is the case no problem. So I asked him are we good in respond we are good my beautiful wife.
We enjoyed ourselves to the fullest we spend one month completely in the Netherlands it beautiful I love the beach and the weather as for the food wow it was beautiful?
After this special treat with my husband I thought he was going to be a change man . Not knowing he was even worse to the core. I had plans for the whole week I had to travel to the Northing part of Ghana, I was then building a five star hotel for my three children. I kept this project from my husband it was a secret not even did my children know about it? I had a call that afternoon from my maid and the housekeeper ,
Madam there is fire on the mountain I asked what was the problem pls take your time and explain everything to detail. From the gateman master give your best friend bele it means my best friend is pregnant for my husband. I knew it because ever since I introduced my best friend to my husband, she has been behaving as if she is all that nice, that was her problem I don't care. With all this nonsense drama I had to control my self because of my (Bp) @ that very moment I called bra Kwame to start changing my Documents to my children's names. I decided to call the bank to inform them about some changes, the manager of the bank informed me that my husband wanted to redraw some money from my foreign account but the bank refused.
5 CHAPTER 5: BEAUTIFUL BUT DANGEROUS
Mr Oluwole had always been captivated by beauty, and his childhood girlfriend, with her stunning looks, was no exception. She was the embodiment of elegance, but beneath her flawless, exterior she, harbored dangerous intentions for months, Oluwole had been feeling unusually weak ,suffering from unexpected health issues. The beautiful face he had once adore now seemed like a witch for cruelty that lay beneath, with newfound resolve, he prepared to confront her, to end the nightmare arround him before it claimed his life.

6 CHAPTER 6: JEALOUS MAN
The man on the phone asked her my love how far with our plan , in response my girlfriend said don't mind that old fool by the time I am done with him and that old man everybody will no that I am the madam of this house. His boyfriend asked her before you become the madam of the house make sure you get the house documents, land's documents and bank details.
I Mr Oluwole quickly called one good friend of mine to get paa mono from my house because he was in danger. Immediately after the call he got to my house and ask for paa mono the gateman then ask my friend to wait while he go get paa mono out of the house. When mono came he said he was not going anywhere so I had to call him and tell him what was going on before he decided to live house. The gateman then asked my friend who are you . In response I am the son of paa mono I have come to take him to the hospital for check up and bring him back to the house so don't worry about it. I will bring him back from the gateman no wahala nana . It means no problem.
When they got out from the compound I called my friend again infront of paa mono please take him to the hospital for treatment make sure they flush out the poison from his system after that take him to my mothers house. Tell them I said they should take care of him 24/7 , when you're done please call me I will. Thanks for everything
One morning after taking my bath and dressed up for an important meeting I started feeling pain in my stomach so I was rushed to the hospital for check up and I found out it was the poison that was working on me but according to the doctors I was save to come in fast by my driver. With all this treatment I stayed in the hospital for one month. The pain was unbearable I even forget about my phone and the CCTV camera in my house way back in Nigeria. It was a neighbor who called to inform me that my gateman was beating my poisonous girlfriend? I thank the person for calling me and put on my camera to find out about the on going situation in my house way back in Nigeria, according to the gateman man , how did another man manage to enter the compound with out knowing and the other man was as commanding him in the morning to open the gate.
That brought the anger in the gateman how dear you come into my office to give me order who are you and how did you get in , my friend start talking or you are going to be in trouble this morning, in fact let me get my uniform off so that this will make you see that I am serious . When my poisonous girlfriend saw how the gateman started slapping his new boyfriend she then knew that there is a big problem, the name of my girlfriend was called blessing the gateman called for the police after beaten blessing boyfriend. They came to the house and he explain what really happened when the called blessing to find out what happened she denied she does not know the boyfriend.
The gateman became more angry at her and called her a witch and a liar. The police officer ask her again she denied the allegation that she does not no the guy , then the gateman walk up to her with one slap and pushed her out of the compound why are you doing this to me gateman, look am not happy with you. You think I don't know how you try to poison me and paa mono and Oga I know everything and you have the audacity to bring another man into my office to command me to open gate are you alright.
Blessing was confused.? How did he know about the poison. How did he know, I am finished I have to try and talk to him concerning everything. No I don't think so something must be done about him, should I killed him , no I think something must be done but how am I gonna do it now that I have rejected my boyfriend who was beating by the gateman. Something must be done,
7 CHAPTER 7: ANOTHER MAN IN CHARGE
Madam Blessings comply with the police officer's and they where all taken to the police station for questioning . But blessing was smart and convincing that the guy was his brother who came to visit her, but she does not know how the whole argument started between the gateman and my brother. Ok before you guys should leave here we will take statements from each one of you before leaving. After the statement they all live for the house, the gateman was very hungry with her and the so called boyfriend so he started walking home on excepted he saw paa mono coming out of a car then he shouted mono man mono man , paa mono , paa mono then paa mono came out of the car to see who was calling him it me the gateman, A A A it been a while why are you sweating like this. Paa mono make we forget about this English language make we talk our own English, paa mono that madam blessing na one big devil. You no say one time I see am dea put something for Oga in food inside but something come happen so Oga no fit eat the food then Oga come live the house with speed . Since I come they see this tin my heart never dea rest , paa mono why so I Don do Oga bad oooooh the gateman man I no fit talk naaa Oga fit put me for jail. Paa mono what you do Oga tell me I go fit beg Oga for you tell me , ok me and madam blessing we do for bed the time Oga come travel go Ghana?
She come they tell me say she dea like me pass Oga because I be strong man fine boy , but all this naa big plan way she get for mind for kill Oga then she go put the blame for my head. How you take know say she want kill Oga paa mono she come dea talk give en other boyfriend naa . Paa mono you mean say blessing get boyfriend. Where Oga go see this kind whitch from , I never know oooooo ok gateman what be your name self my name na Jamesi , james or jamesi which one from paa mono. I beg just call me the way I pronounced mi name jamesi ok I go call you jamesi no worry I go call oga Oluwole and explain everything to am ok. Paa mono I think say I for dea go my office now later we go talk , bye from paa mono.
Later that evening paa mono called Mr Oluwole and explain everything jamesi said about blessing that he jamesi is very sorry to have spend some time with your girlfriend, but Mr Oluwole was not angry because he has confessed what he did . Paa mono don't worry the only thing I did not see is when they got to the police's station, now am just waiting for them to come back so I can continue where I stopped from. Oh I see from paa mono yes don't worry now I have more evidence to put her away from my life for Good. My boss good night till tomorrow good bye mono man.
Kofigee and small pepper what a Drama I can't believe all this things are happening to you guys, from small pepper I don't think I want to end up like this nonsense how can people be so wicked and heartless. From sweet baby some men are very selfish and wicked, from Kofigee I want to ask Oga Babatunde wife to be, what are you trying to say here and what do you know about love small boy like you . 8 CHAPTER 8: CONFESSION
Guys if I tell you something you will not believe me Oga Babatunde your girlfriend here is pregnant for some one and she has come to give it to you. Guys you know one thing she has been giving me plenty food so I will not talk, madam am not a mumu man . I don't even know my real parents why should I lie to this family of mine . Babatunde my love tell me kofi is lying , yes it true I wanted to confess but I was afraid. Then all of them shouted so who is responsible for the pregnancy, the pregnancy belongs to I can't talk, then Babatunde shouted with anger if you don't talk now then I think it over, abomination all that I have done for you, this is how you want to pay me back no problem please go in there and pack your things and leave my house I don't want to see you in my life or the shop .
Am confused I don't even have a man or a boyfriend that is from sister Mensah i don't know what to say. story like this put some of us out of love, in fact we are both wicked to ourselves.
To me I think love is like taken a chance of doing something right. Sister Mensah why are you called by the name Mensah that from Kofigee, kofi all I know is a name my late father gave me, that name before he died According to my mother all my late father's children are girls and no one is there to carry the family name? It means even if I get married one day I will still maintain the family name . If I give brith to five children I will give two children of mine Mensah because I love my family's name and I don't want the name to get lost . Kofi is asking sister Mensah if that is the case why don't you call me kofi Mensah I will love to be your first son because I don't have a name of my own , guys what are you saying about this move I have just made i want a name I want to be part of life meaning. With out a name I feel as if I am an outsider. I just hope I can find my biological parents one day and ask them why they dumped me in a dustbin @ the age of two weeks, kofi started crying betterly why me , the whole family console him pls don't cry my son , from small pepper why are some ladies so heartless . Bra Kwame maybe Kofi's father was a school boy or he was leaving with friends or has no prospects in life, so this type of disappointment can allow the mother to do anything she wants. It could be she is from a wealthy home and most of this homes has a name in the society. Kofi don't worry I believe your real mother will come find you one day bra Kwame.
Sister Mensah for now kofi want your family name, I am here as a friend, brother, and a family lawyer . What do you say , it means I will take care of kofi as my son, yes but all of us here will support his need , i madam Fati will be his grandmother and I Mr Oluwole will be your father . Now Babatunde was asking kofi how did you know my girlfriend was hiding something from me , it was last week I noticed some change in her attitude she was spitting all over the place then I told her I believe you are pregnant and she told me it was malaria, I laughed at her and told her that my late grandma told me everything about ladies before she died, so I can tell her were there it malaria or this or that . 9 CHAPTER 9: I HAVE A SON NOW
So I decided to excuse her , on my way out it was a man voice on the phone asking if she has given you the pregnancy and she said no . On the speaker of the phone she told the guy not to get worry that she was going to fulfill her promise by giving another man's child to another man, when I heard of it I was not happy, mr Babatunde just imagine my situation how my own mother left me in the dustbin without a father. So I was upset with the whole idea, any time I want to tell you I feel I was not courageous or man enough or I was waiting for the right time. Am sorry to inform you all at this time, madam Fati my son , no tell him my grand son you have done well. So it means kofi is now kofi Mensah , bra Kwame I have decided to take kofi as my first son? Small pepper I believe as a family from different backgrounds we should celebrate this for kofi , sister Mensah now you have a son. Kofi started crying it was tears of joy wow what a wonderful day. Mr Oluwole, bra Kwame, mr Babatunde small pepper decided to contribute some money for this occasion for kofi by inviting the whole community to come celebrate with them. This massage of celebration for kofi has traveled far and wide that sister Mensah has adopted kofi as her first son . But the venue of the celebration was to be held in Kofigee late grandma compound it was a big event and that compound can accommodate an entire community.
Bra Kwame had a surprise fro Kofigee who is now kofi Mensah, before the old lady passed on she willed the entire compound and the house to Kofigee before she died. The old lady's real grandchild was bra Kwame.
Not knowing the late grandma first daughter was bra Kwame mom. The then old lady lost her memory and forgot her entire family due to some sickness she had when she was in late fifty's (50) so the only person she could remember was Kofigee as her son.
The day of the celebration has come, madam Fati,sister Mensah and sweet baby were there to celebrate with the big boys and the whole community it was a special moment kofi Mensah will never forget this day!
After the celebration there were tears of joy from everyone of them including kofi .
10 CHAPTER 10: CONFUSION
When they were about to open the gifts for kofi, one black B M W came into the compound and there was this beautiful woman that came out of the car and greeted them good evening pls I am looking for the old woman that was staying here , please where is she, then bra Kwame replied her I am sorry to tell you this she died last year. From the lady's mouth I am finished, then bra Kwame asked her what is the problem. From the lady it a long story, then they all noticed it could be Kofigee's real mother. Sister Mensah called for bra Kwame look I don't want this woman to take kofi away from me you know I just adopted him why now. Pls don't worry we are here for you.
Bra Kwame, madam how do you want me to help you now that the old lady is no more. Pls if I may ask who is the person close to the old woman, well the son is here. can you call him for me . Just a minute kofi Mensah, pls come. Sir am coming? When he arrived at the gate the lady felt something was wrong but she could not talk . She was just looking at kofi , then they all noticed that was Kofi's real mom . Surprisingly sister Mensah stood up you will never take my son , again you will never take my son away from me . 16 CHAPTER 16 : SMALL PEPPER IS INLOVE WITH SWEET BABY
One evening while sweet baby visited small pepper, they where talking while a call came in small pepper excuse sweet baby and took the call and it was the voice of a woman, baby decided to listen to the conversation, then in the process she found out all this while small pepper was a cousin to Kofigee. And baby feels betrayed and confronted small pepper. She struggles to understand how someone she loves could hide such big secrets. And the worse by spying on Kofigee and the adoption.
Sweet baby to small pepper I am disappointed at you. You mean you have been pretending all this while to the group about your identity, and hurting the young boy feelings. Their relationship becomes strained , fill with mistrust and emotional distance. Kofigee, though aware of the revelation about small pepper and his biological mother, remains unfazed. The in a heartfelt moment, he tells the group, I don't care about any of this anymore the women who rased me died longtime ago but yet still I have another mother now she has been there for me all this years . But instead of judgment, she smiled. That's great. She said and what you ? Babatunde asked in return, trying to turn the focus back to her , well I am based in the United States she answered causally , as a doctor.

Kofigee looked at his master from a distance. And he knew that his master is finally found happiness with madam Fati's sister Fatima .

Babatunde just smiled, well my mother is from Nigeria and my father is a Ghanaian, he replied his tone carry's a sense of pride, it means am from two countries, Ghana and Nigeria, I am very happy that it has happened like this.
Fatima why so ? I like traveling I spent more time in Ghana and spend some months in Nigeria just visiting family and friends. Wow her eyes opened. That such a beautiful combination, she said warmly . It must be fascinating growing up between two rich cultures .
As Babatunde, speaks she noticed the way his face lift up when he talked about his heritage. There was something special about the way he embraced his dual roots.
