Terms of Persuasion

Inna crossed her arms, pouting. "If you ask me so many questions at the same time, how can I answer?"

Jimin sighed, exasperated. "You're the one who's hurrying things."

Inna shot him a sassy look. "Well, I'm not! I have the whole plan prepared."

Jimin raised an eyebrow. "Wow, you planned everything without me?"

Inna shrugged. "Do you even have time for this sort of thing?"

Jimin replied confidently, "No."

Inna smirked. "Exactly. So, listen you are going with me."

Jimin blinked, stunned. "Huh?"

Inna clasped her hands together, putting on her best puppy eyes. "Please?"

Jimin shook his head, unimpressed. "Well, this time, that's not gonna work."

Inna huffed, thinking quickly. "Okay, then I'll just go to your mom and tell her you're having trouble sleeping and stressing out a lot."

Jimin's eyes widened in disbelief. "What? Why are a trip and my stress related?"

Inna grinned mischievously. "Why not? Sure, we'll have fun, but it's also good for your health."

Jimin rolled his eyes. "You don't have to worry about my health."

Inna started to stand up, pretending to leave. "Okay, then. I'm going to your mom..."

Jimin quickly raised his hands in surrender. "Okay! Okay! Why do you even ask when you're just gonna blackmail me?

"Inna smiled triumphantly, her tone teasing. "I'm just really happy we're going on this trip together."

Inna left the café, her steps light and cheerful. Jimin watched her go, sighing to himself before a slight smile crept onto his face. Reluctantly, he got up and followed her out.

Back at his house, Jimin found himself lost in thought, pacing back and forth in his room. He knew he needed to tell his mom about the trip, but the idea made him uneasy. His relationship with his mom wasn't bad, but it wasn't exactly close either.

They lived peacefully, but there was always a quiet distance between them.
