Bento made by Ling'er

Robert sat on his bed with his leg crossed as his eyes were closed and they was a swirl of golden energy around him, he was currently cultivating .

One hour had passed and he was still cultivating and then he opened his eyes as he was sweating profusely.

" It's been two months now and am still stuck at the ninth stage of the spirit refining realm? First l was stuck at the eight stage and now this ,from one problem to another"

Robert gave a sigh as now he was stuck in a major bottle neck , cultivatiors usually meet bottlenecks in the higher realms of cultivation , but Robert's case was different.

He has been meet with two bottlenecks in the spirit refining realm twice , this also got Lin zhong confused

" Oh well , l Will just keep cultivating but l need resources like pills? But master won't give them to me free , he always said l will be rewarded when l do something outstanding or difficult.

Isn't that just blackmail , he also said l don't always have to dependent or relay on others and the path of cultivation must be crossed by myself , man what a headache"

Robert said to himself as he laid on his bed staring at the ceiling.

" Come to think of it , l haven't still got to try to make some cash , and for the past two months l have been helping sergeant Pyke in some of his missions, why don't l"

Robert face turned into a grin as an idea came to his mind , he had been helping Pyke in some missions that were tough , since he had already accepted Pyke's offer.

Robert immediately sat up as his glanced to a book that lay beside his bed and he picked it looking at it.

" Phew, finally l learnt the secret sword technique - seven soaring dragons strike , but l haven't tested it yet"

Robert gets down from his bed and walked towards his room window which was open , he was thinking of how he was going to test such technique .

Robert came to the window and looking up into the bright night sky as it was lit up with a myriad of shining stars.

" I wonder what adventure awaits me in the cultivation world , once l breakthrough into the spirit void realm"

Robert eyes were full of anticipation and curiosity and the urge to explore a new world , he immediately remember what had happened a week ago between him and Trevor.

" I hope that moron doesn't try anything funny and master hasn't responded to me in five days now"

Robert let out a sigh and closed the window then he took a shower before going to bed.

The next day at sterling academy

In a large hall were students who were eating and chatting , the place had the aroma of food in the air , they were chairs and round tables which the students were seated on as they ate and chatted.

It was the cafeteria , the place had a vibrant atmosphere and it was a little noisy , the whole place was decorated with plants , flower pots , paintings with screens showing pictures of world famous chefs and mouthwatering cuisines.

At the center of the hall was a hologram of the globe, at the counter were the foods were bought and served , above were screen projector's showing a menu of different types of food and their prices.

A round white table surrounded by five chairs , seated are three friends who were eating and chatting

" Yo did you guys do any of the assignment miss Clara gave"

Josh asked as he munched his food ,Dan and Robert looked at him with weird expressions on their faces.

" What? why are you both staring at me like that"

Josh asked them as their gaze were upon him

" Don't tell you didn't do your assignment josh"

Robert asked and Josh was silent, Dan and Robert face palmed upon seeing his reaction .

" You know l hate school work and besides miss Clara assignments are too hard"

Josh was trying to defend himself right now

"..."

" Bro quit the act we know you definitely know nothing of doing the assignments she gives , with that empty head of yours"

Dan told him straight to his face and Josh was staring daggers at him

" Guys chill , it's just an assignment don't worry Josh l will give you mine to copy from"

Robert said as he didn't want them to get in an argument now

"Thanks alot Robert you are a life saver" Josh eyes lighted up with excitement

'geez at least try doing your assignments on Your own' Robert said in his head

" Hello boys can l sit with you guys" a beautiful feminine voice asked and the boys turned their gaze towards the person and it was mo ling'er.

" Su..sure thing" Robert acknowledged that she could sit with them

" Thanks alot Robert" a beautiful smile played on her face as she thanked him and Robert slightly blushed.

Dan and Josh sat at the opposite side of table while Robert sat alone at the other side of the table , while the two empty chairs were on is left and right side so ling'er sat close to Robert.

Robert could smell the beautiful fragrance emitting from her body and with her sitting so close to him , his body trembled a bit .

" So guys how was your weekend" ling'er asked them with smile

" Mine was great and cool" Dan replied as he drink a bottle of cola

" Haa , mine was stressful and hectic because of the assignment given by miss Clara" Josh said as he wanted ling'er to show worry for him

" Ling'er Don't mind this rascal , he's just lying look at his note his assignment is undone"

Josh moral was shattered as Dan showed ling'er his note book , Josh had forgotten he Brought his assignment note book with him in bid to ask his friends to copy theirs.

" Silly Josh" ling'er chuckled and Josh brought down his head in embarrassment

" So what about you Robert" ling'er lips curved into a smile as her voice sounded sweet and soft , Robert couldn't help but admire her beauty and her cute face

" Emm. It's was great just some couple of projects and training" Robert said with a smile

" What are you training for" ling'er asked him curiously

" Well l actually joined the martial arts club and a tournament is coming up in the next two months so l need to train ahead of it"

Robert explained to her and ling'er smiled saying

" Oh you are into martial arts , l also practice martial arts , l would to like to spar with you tomorrow"

Robert was a little in disbelief in what she just said now , wait a minute spar with me? Why would she want that.

" Well it's no problem , l hope you go easy on me" Robert accepted, Dan and Josh were in suprise over it.

Then ling'er opened her lunch box which she held and an amazing aroma filled the boys nostrils , and they were curious to know what was inside Ling'er lunch box.

"Wow what a pleasant aroma from that lunch box of yours" Robert said as he sniffed the air around him even Dan and Josh couldn't help but stare at ling'er lunch box.

" Oh thanks , actually l made some bento would you like to try some Robert"

She asked him with a cute smile , Robert couldn't believe his ears , even Dan and Josh went into an up spree upon hearing her words.

" Um it's okay , don't worry thank you" Robert politely refused , Josh hearing Robert's decline felt like punching him in the face for refusing such offer.

Ling'er expression turned a bit unhappy upon hearing Robert words.

" Well this was my first time making a bento , l wanted to know if l was good on my first try"

She said sadly , Robert on seeing her expression was moved to accept it , as the girl just wanted to know how good was she.

" Fine l will have taste" Robert finally agreed and Ling'er eyes sparkled with happiness

" Really"

She asked

" Yeah sure of course" Robert told her and then ling'er reached into the side of lunch box and brought out a chopstick.
