Chapter 32: Marshal Teng Snake!

The smoke and dust cleared, revealing the Yaksha's figure. His once magnificent robe was now tattered, and his body was marked with burns from the lightning. One of his arms was missing, but he still managed to hold himself up and didn't collapse.

"Tsk, this is really troublesome. Why won't he just die already?" Kujo Tsumugi cursed under her breath and turned to Boyang. "Brother Boyang, let's go quickly. Injured beasts are the most dangerous."

"Agreed," Boyang nodded in response.

Their previous attack had used up most of their talismans, and the remaining ones were of little use.

So, Kujo Tsumugi and Boyang decided to abandon the severely injured Yaksha and make a quick escape.

They had barely covered ten meters when Kujo Tsumugi sensed a powerful energy fluctuation coming from behind. Turning around, she was nearly struck with fear.

The magical weapon that had been floating around the Yaksha now shone brightly. Dozens of golden energy balls separated from it and began to morph into golden spears, their tips gleaming ominously as they pointed directly at Kujo Tsumugi and Boyang.

"Damn it! It's not just any Yaksha; he's turned into a golden one!"

If they didn't find cover quickly, they'd be impaled by a barrage of spears.

"Brother Boyang, run to the house!" Kujo Tsumugi shouted and dashed into a nearby building. Since they had chosen an abandoned village for their ambush, there were plenty of places to hide.

Boyang, noticing the danger, ran to the back of a house and took cover.

Then, dozens of spears flew through the air.

With a series of glass shattering sounds, the spears pierced through the windows and into the room.

"This is so dangerous," Kujo Tsumugi thought, hiding under a table. She looked at the spears that had pierced the table and others that had embedded themselves in the floor. If she hadn't reacted quickly, she'd be skewered.

"Thankfully, this Yaksha isn't very clever. If it were me, I'd have made the spears explode."

"Boom! Bang, bang, bang!"

Just as Kujo Tsumugi finished her thought, the spears exploded. The largest blast came from those that had pierced the table, while the other explosions were relatively small.

Caught in the blast, Kujo Tsumugi was saved by her sturdy armor. Despite being thrown and hitting her head, she wasn't seriously injured.

"Miss Tsumugi, are you okay?" Boyang asked, rushing over. He had avoided injury because he was behind the house when the spears exploded.

"I'm fine. Just a bit shaken," Kujo Tsumugi said as she got up.

"We need to leave quickly. That Yaksha is too powerful..."

Before she could finish, a new, even more terrifying energy wave surged. This time, the energy wave appeared directly above their heads.

Kujo Tsumugi looked up to see a massive energy ball, several dozen meters in diameter, forming overhead. She couldn't help but smile wryly.

First, it was The King's Treasure, and now it's Heaven Moving All Things. Did that Yaksha pay for the copyright?

As this thought crossed her mind, the massive energy ball began to descend.

Faced with such overwhelming strength, Kujo Tsumugi resigned herself to her fate, closing her eyes and bracing for the end of the simulation.

Well, I've completed many side quests in this simulation. Even if I die, it'll be worth it, she thought.

However, death did not come. A few seconds later, a calm and leisurely voice reached her ears.

"I must say, you two are just waiting to die. Don't you value your lives?"

Kujo Tsumugi opened her eyes to find a tall, sturdy man beside her and Boyang. The man was nearly two meters tall, wearing purple trousers and nothing on his upper body. His muscular frame was adorned with purple tattoos, a cross scar on his chest, and a purple Shura mask on his head. Most strikingly, he had four arms—two normal and two additional ones growing from his shoulders.

A purple protective shield surrounded them, keeping them safe. Not only did the massive explosion above them fail to penetrate the shield, but even the sound and dust were kept out.

I must be dreaming... Kujo Tsumugi thought, despite having seen various creatures like Tengu and raccoon dogs in Inazuma. The sight of a four-armed man felt surreal.

"Are you... Marshal Vritras?" Boyang asked excitedly, recognizing the figure.

Seeing Kujo Tsumugi's confusion, Boyang introduced him. "Marshal Vritras is the leader of the Yakshas, and his strength is unparalleled among them. The intense thunder element surrounding him strikes fear into enemies. Though I haven't been on the front lines for long, I'm familiar with Marshal Vritras's reputation."

"Haha, it's not as grand as you make it sound. Just call me Bosacius," the man said, appearing a bit bashful as he scratched his head with one of his arms. He then turned to the distant Yaksha.

"Before we get into introductions, let me handle that one first."

Bosacius stepped out of the protective shield, his four arms rubbing together in preparation.

"Hehe, Menogias, I didn't expect to meet you again after all these years. It seems we're fated to cross paths."

With that, an energy fluctuation emanated from Bosacius that rivaled the power of the previously seen attack. Four armors appeared on his arms as he spoke softly, "Don't worry, Menogias, this time I'll ensure you can rest in peace."

The battle between Bosacius and Menogias was brief and decisive. Bosacius used a series of powerful strikes to defeat Menogias without delay.

As the strongest of the Yakshas, Bosacius could have easily defeated Menogias even if Menogias had been at his prime. Given that Menogias was now a weakened spirit, the outcome was inevitable.

After vanquishing Menogias, Bosacius picked up the defeated Yaksha's magical weapon and gently stroked it, a nostalgic look in his eyes.
