A Mate For The Last Lycan

On the other hand, Rose could see how his gaze softened, she used this opportunity to approach him, hugged him, and rested her forehead against his chest. And the fact Logan didn't even push her away, it was a great sign.

"You know I can't do it without you. I know the beginning of our union, it's not something that you even dreamed about, but believe me, I will put myself in danger. I will put myself between you and the lycan if it meant you are safe. I have seen what happened to Dacre and and I don't want the same thing happen to you." Rose sighed with feeling. "I don't want to be Nycta."

Nycta chose death when she returned to be with Dacre in his final moment, which showed her stupidity and also her loyalty and love for her mate, even though she could escape and would have been alive now.

With the way Rose said that she didn't want to be like Nycta, in a way, she admitted that she loved Logan.
